Alpha Stax...GRRRRR!!!

I did my "Bowling for Birthdays" page yesterday and found out that two of my letters from Alpha Stax are NOT the same color as the others!!! I was pretty choked!

You can really notice it on my layout and I am not impressed!


Are yours the same?????????

I've only used mine once and didn't notice a differene but, I'm going to check my page write now.

Did they change color after you adhered them.

OH NO - I have the same problem. I wrote Nutcraker and the A is a bright purple and the others are dull looking.

I used my Zig glue to adhere them what did you use? I am really upset now. I am going to try to find them on-line and send them off an e-mail. You don't happen to have one of there packages do you.

I've used them lots! This is the first time I am using purple tho! I noticed it as I was glueing them onto the page! I don't have any packaging left, I threw it away when I opened it. I was going to buy more this week too cus I love them! Maybe it's just the purple???

I noticed on your other pages you had them matted on other pieces of paper like a mat. Was this the first time you didn't mount them on a mat?

What did you use to adhere them?

No, I have several layouts without using the mats, it's the actual color of the letter! I use Zig glue to adhere them, but the glue didn't make them change color, I looked at the letter on the actual stack and it's lighter purple!

Cute, cute layout! I wouldn't have even noticed the difference in color, it just adds personality don't ya think? Good job on the layout!

Timon, I love your page it is cute. It is hard to see a difference online. Question: Are the bowling pins stickers and what kind? Thanks, my daughter had a bowling party for her birthday.

The bowling pins are clipart from The Print Shop 15, I printed them out and then cut them out I couldn't find any bowling pin stickers anywhere so it's the best I could do!

didn't get much of a response. Sounded like a brush off to me. I don't think they really care. Timon maybe you could send them a copy of your lay out so, they can see what we are talking about.

Laura, thank you for you comments on this product, I did forward this to our design department and they are looking into the situation, we have not had any other complaints about the colors. And do not notice any difference in the ones we have in stock, But they are checking with our Vendor.

I would like to let you know of an issue with your Alpha Staxx. I was so excited about this new product until I started using them and looked back on my pages to find the letters of the same color aren’t the same color at all. I am very disappointed that the titles on my pages are now not the same color. I know of others that have had this same problem.



I was planning on switching from Alpha Stickers to Alpha Staxx but now I’m not sure that’s a good idea. I take great pride in the albums I am putting together for our family and I now feel I have several ruined pages.



Just thought you should know about the dye colors not being the same.

I've been wondering where you've been. My sister has been real sick lately also after many tests they finally figured out she has a pinched nerve. Luckily that's all it is. She couldn't even sit up she was in so much pain.

Hope you are not real ill.


Let me know what you get for a response from them when you send an e-mail. I'm curious. I thought they'd offer to replace them or send a coupon or something like that.


Too bad you miss out on the swap. I thought you'd be part of it.

Thanks Laura,

I just have a cold but also have had a headache for 4 straight days now. I took the day off to just sleep and see if I can get rid of this horrible headache! Hopefully your sister is feeling better now too!

I will let you know if and when I hear back from that e-mail, but I am beat and won't even send it until at least Thursday or Friday on my day off.

The swap...oh yeah...ummm...not really a swap kind of girl. But I am sure it's a lot of fun for those of you in it. I am a huge introvert...I could NEVER go to a crop class or stuff like that. When I started scrapping a few years ago, my sis-in-law who also scraps told me that she took these great beginner classes at our LSS and I thought it would be kinda neat to have a professional teach me how to scrap but the class aspect of it just threw me off and I never did it.

I see the back room with ladies SB'ing at my LSS all the time and I peek in and think..."Oh my...I could never scrap with a stranger sitting right next to me"

I deal with roughly 1000-3000 people a day at the airport everyday at work so when I come home and especially when I scrap...I don't want to be around ANYBODY LOL
