Alpha capsule

My DH would like to give this treatment a try on our next trip. Would like to hear some opinions on this spa treatment? Relaxing? Worth the money? Thanks!!

I've done the Alpha Capsule twice and love it. Very relaxing. Great as a first time spa experience.

What's funny is on the DCL special on the Travel Channel, it looked REALLY uncomfortable. It looks like this funny egg chamber that this gigantic guy tried climbing into

You **must** do the rainforest room at least once! $15 for a day pass is a great price as well. The scented showers are wonderful!

I have done this before and found it pretty relaxing, but I would rather have just stuck to the rainforest. just my thoughts.

I attempted this on my cruise and found out that I was more claustraphobic than I thought. I had to get out after about 6 minutes. If he is at all not good in small spaces I would say skip it. As for you, I did the ladies night and it was terrific. The chocolates and champagne were very nice at the end of the treatments. Have fun.

I didn't care for it. It was nice but, I didn't think it worth the money. I wouldn't do it again. Just curious, from those of you who did this, what did you tip for this? I tipped $7, but she really didn't do anything but put me in, set the music and put on the eye cover-less than 5 minutes.

I would like to try the rainforest next time.

For me, the alpha capsule was kind of like having an MRI--only more uncomfortable! Sorry, just my honest opinion.

I did the "Alpha capsule" on my last cruise. Yes it was relaxing. But I fell asleep and woke up and felt claustrophobic and had to open it up. It got hot and the pack they put on your eyes added to the closed-in feeling. I won't be doing it again. I thought it cost too much. I didn't tip anything b/c the gal just punched in some numbers and left.

On the other hand -- I LOVED the Rainforest room. I got the same "effect" spending time on the heated, vibrating, tile loungers as I did in the Alpha Capsule.

I try to do the "capsule" on every cruise...I love it..because..

It is the only time I don't have someone calling me...MOMMIE,
HONEY, PHYLLIS, do this, where is this, why can't I do this,woof woof, etc and so on.......

If you are claustrophobic...don't let them put the glasses on you,
(I have done this before) and I turn the temp to cool after the
gal leaves.

It is expensive...but IMHO...well worth it. I found a place here at
home that has one...but they are really snooty and stuck up...so
I just save it for the cruise. And we also do the Rainforest too...love it too......

It's just whatever you want to do for yourself....
