Alone at DL?

I went alone one time and just didn't really find the magic I felt when I was with my family, don't get me wrong.. i loved it! But I think if I had my family besides me acting goofy it would be a gallon more fun. but, have loads of fun!

I did this at WDW when my husband was at meetings for a convention. I had a BLAST! One day I just wandered around the Magic Kingdom, doing a few rides that I knew I liked more than he did, and just looking in all the little nooks and crannies that we're usually in too much of a hurry to notice.

Another day, I visited all the resort hotels and wandered the grounds. And then there was the day that I just sat and enjoyed OUR resort and relaxed.

I'd say go for it! It's a whole different experience on your own, and it can be very relaxing and illuminating. Spend some time sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch on Main St., go on some rides that your family members groan at (I like Small World, the Storyland Boats and Jungle Cruise) wander through New Orleans Square and peek in all the shops and the little back alleyways. Take a ride on the Mark Twain. Get yourself a decadent dessert and don't share it! ;)

HAve fun!!!

Yeahh, it really depends on the person. Some people really get their vibe from the people around them, and so going solo doesn't always turn out as good for them. But for experts who know the ins and outs of DL get a good kick out of it.

I think I will at least just wonder for a while. DH has been at training since Jan 7 and will be home the night of march 27. We leave in the wee hours on the 29th. He could use the bonding time and I sure could use the break, especially with my youngest teething now! Maybe I will indulge in a treat and finally ride Indy! :scared1: Thank you all so much!
