I'm so excited to say that I have booked my trip now!

GV Dec 9-16! We haven't decided on whether or not we want to do a meal plan. If we do, it will be the QSDP, just not sure if we will have too much food, since we would like to do at least 2 TS character meals. Not sure how much food a 2 year old & 1 year old will eat, either!

Hi guys, I've been MIA the last two days scrambling to get ready. Packing up right now. Looks like the weather will be mid 70s our first three days, then back in the low 60s the rest of the trip. Guess we'll take advantage of the pool as soon as we get there!

If I don't get back on between now and Sunday, I wanted to wish all my Poly friends a great week and I'll be sure to check back in here a week from Sunday and give you the lowdown of our trip. Thanks to everyone who kept me company while waiting for our big day to arrive. I can't believe I will be there on Sunday! :cheer2:

Talk to you all next week! TPV, here we come!:woohoo:

How exciting! Have fun!!:yay:

The more I've looked around, the more excited I am getting. My kids are little, so staying up late for Christmas Wishes was a bit of an ordeal last year. The thought of being able to watch without worrying about the crowds, trip home etc. sounds fantastic. I love the idea of having a glass of wine and dessert in the lounge while watching the fireworks!!!

This is one of the reasons I LOVED the lounge during our Dec '08 Poly stay. The night before New Years Eve, DD10 stayed up in her pajamas (w/ her blanket) in the lounge to watch the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks. On New Years Eve, she fell asleep before the fireworks started but I was able to enjoy them from the peaceful, quiet and comfy couch near the windows. It is so cool b/c they also pipe the music in for Christmas Wishes/Reg. Wishes as well! :thumbsup2

Just did the online check in! We will be there on Monday!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1: I am super excited. This will be our last trip for awhile as I found out I am expecting our 3rd child. I won't get to ride all the big rides but disney is so much more than that.

Heather:)

There is a small rush of people when they first start serving food. Never really had a problem with crowds. And besides I could care less if I get the first rib! :rotfl2:

I know that was my attitude. :rotfl: Well, the first rib and a glass of that wonderful, um, 'grown up' punch they had sitting out...

Talk to you all next week! TPV, here we come!:woohoo:

OMG, you and your DD have a BLAST! I can just imagine the look on her face when you open the curtains of your TPV room. Hope you get Tuvalu! :wizard:

Heck, I'm excited for ya! Even if you do the QSDP, with the kids being under 3, I don't think you're charged for them. If they're anything like my DD was at that age, once they see the characters, eating is the last thing on their minds! :lmao:

Sounds just like heaven to me!

Have a wonderful trip, all you lucky travelers going soon! Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back...

The thoughts of my first poly trip in June is the ONLY thing getting me through this LONG winter in Cleveland! We have never stayed deluxe before, but when I got the 40% Pin, I couldn't hold back!:cloud9:

Aloha Poly fans! I have a question for you. Last time we stayed at Poly there were 4 of us, now we are 5 and will need to utilize the daybed/couch. Do they make it up for you with sheets and pillows etc on it? Anyone have a picture or know of one you could direct me to?

Also my DH and I remember the beds there being soooooo comfortable and we are hoping they are still the same?

Yep, if you ask Mousekeeping they'll make it up for you completely - pillows sheets etc. - it ends up looking just like a normal single bed. And yep the beds are just as comfortable as ever :worship: No luck finding a picture though sorry

Ours was completely made up when we went to our room. We didn't have to ask mousekeeping - they had already done it.

See you soon! It's funny, I put in the right date, and yet my ticker says I'm leaving today...maybe I should go by my ticker and jump on the next plane out? :lmao: Maybe we'll run into you out and about. I'll have a LGMH pinned to my purple backpack :)

Thanks for all the well wishes everyone! I'm still not done getting ready yet, but getting there. Note that I always have to jump on here to get my latest Poly fix, even though I'll be on my way there tomorrow :goodvibes I always pop on early on Saturdays to see what magical photos Breezysmom has posted for us! :wizard: Happy Saturday everyone! :grouphug:
