I just wanted to join everyone that loves the Poly, I made reservations for a split stay between the BC DCL and Poly TPV CL I am so excited I have always wanted to stay in a TPV room and was able to do this with the 40% discount. Now all I have to do is wait and try not to drive everyone crazy

This will be the first time staying at the BC, just my sister and me on this trip, I can't wait, she has always wanted to stay at the BC so when we were able to get a Deluxe CL room at a great rate she couldn't pass it up. I had really wanted to stay at the poly but at the time they didn't have a GV CL available so we were going to stay the whole trip at BC until yesterday when I called and they had the TPV CL room avail. I couldn't help myself and changed the reservation to a split stay. I can't wait to see the view that all of you have been raving about. It sounds so magical

We haven't stayed at BC either, and haven't done CL at Poly yet either. When are your dates? Are you perhaps going in April?

Welcome!!! BL and Poly (CL) is a great split!!! We needed to get that code, too, to stay TPV CL.

the truth is... I am going to be thrilled with just staying at the Poly period BUT I am still struggling with which longhouse to request!!! Our MOST important request is 3rd floor with balcony. I put in a request for Fiji or Aeotera but after reading other's TR and seeing pics, I think my kids would LOVE Samoa and it seems a lot of people love Tokelau! Oh please help! Should I call back and change my request?????????

For those of you who have stayed GV, what is your favorite and why?

I wasn't sure either. I requested a 3rd floor room in either Fiji or Samoa. Who knows what we will really get! I'm really not too picky but it would be nice to have a decent GV.

Fiji is my dream longhouse. I haven't seen a bad view yet from there. And you can't go wrong with Samoa!

I don't remember if they had root beer in the lounge when we stayed at BWI. Do they have it in the Poly lounge? Does anyone here know if that's something I can request?

Kaffinito -- We don't drink much soda, so I really don't remember if there was rootbeer in the lounge or not. I don't think there was, because DH and DD have a hard time not drinking it, and I don't recall either of them having a can of soda.

If it's really important, you could ask the IPO office right before you go. Things seem to change pretty quickly these days.

I say go with the flow and let the magic happen (you could always asked to be moved if you for some reason don't like your room).

The way we got the discounted 40% off is I sent my sister to WDW for a weekend so we could get the bounce back offer, (7 hr drive down and back) and it worked I was thrilled when she called and told me that there was a bounce back offer in her room and it was the one we had hoped for.

I remembered Breezysmom posting pictures from the lounge on the first page of the thread. I checked - the fridge is stocked with coke, diet coke & sprite. Sorry, doesn't seem to be any root beer. There is a convenience store in the GCH. Maybe they would have some there.

From what I remember in the CL (and because I also love root beer) is isn't available in the lounge :-( Barqs root beer is only available at Captain Cooks. It's shown to the far right next to Coke in the pic below:

OMG! You have exactly what I tried to book, same dates and all. I ended up having to do Poly TPV-CL followed by YC-CL so that I could get 40% off of both.

I really wanted to do Poly 2nd and would have preferred BC over YC, but I took what I could, ya know. You've inspired me to call back and try again.

It never hurts to call back, because people cancel all the time. We have never stayed at YC or BC so this is going to be a new adventure for us. Here is a little Pixie dust for youI hope that you can get the rooms that you wanted.
