They all LOVE waffles so they would be fine with that alone.

I asked a question in the ADR section, but I thought I might get just as much or more response here as well. I booked an ADR at 1900 Park Fare (or Crystal Palace) I can't remember for sure, but I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation for that one. Do they always send you one or should I do it again? I did get confirmation for my CC Hold ADR's but I'm not sure how to verify and/or change the other one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kind of off topic but, if they took CC it must be Park Fair. If you have a confirmation # you can call 1407wdwdine qith your confirmation just to be sure you have reservations and get the time and date!

:lmao::rotfl::rotfl2::worship: Now that's what I call eye candy! And yes, I feel all warm and fuzzy now! Thanks for the great pic...I can't wait to see this again! :thumbsup2

Oh, this was the dude I told family members about. ;) When they didn't believe me, I brought them to the Poly to see him and their jaws went straight to the floor. :rotfl: Now that I remember it, we saw so many hot guys at the Polynesian from the guard shack to the servers that we called it the Hotty-nesian Resort :lmao::lmao:

The Hotty-nesian Resort! :lmao: I love it! And I'm glad to know that it's only my mis-guided step-daughter that thinks I'm whacked for thinking he's a fine ;) young man.

Does anyone know if they do anything special at the poly for easter? We'll be there then and my wife has been asking about egg hunts and the like.

Does anyone have pictures of the quiet pool and the view from the quiet pool?

Not the greatest picture, but the only one I have, looking from the second floor of Rarotonga towards the Hawaii building.

Two wishes for the Poly, as we just booked our 8th trip to this wonderful resort:

I wish there was something more usable and more interesting to more guests in the place of the Wyland Galleries.

Same for the Tangaroa Terrace.

I agree with you on that! Although I have never bought anything from the gallery-they do have gorgeous pics in there-I don't think I have ever seen anyone purchase anything from there! I think they have maybe conventions in the TT..:confused3

We'll be staying at the Poly for the first time in April. I read on another thread that you get Leis at the Spirit of Aloha show. Do you get Leis upon check-in as well?

Also, what are the pool hours & are their any activities around the Poly for adults?

Thanks!

Getting a lei at at check-in can be hit or miss. We did. Others report that they didn't. If you don't, though, there is usually a pile in the lobby over by the tv that you are welcome to help yourself to.

I'm not sure of the pool hours. There are "family" activities, ie. things that both kids and adults would enjoy, for example, hula lessons, beach games etc. I don't think that there are activities geared specifically towards adults. I know DH & DD18 also enjoyed renting a sea racer one afternoon. If you booked a package you will get a coupon with your travel documents.

Hi All!

We just booked out first trip to the Poly for 9 nights in July, garden view. We almost went to Puerto Rico instead, bit them the good people at Disney extended the 40% off and Disney and Poly here we come!

I requested Tokelau 3rd floor with balcony and made all of my dining reservations from the parking lot of a local restaurant last night.

We've stayed at all the mods and Pop this is our first deluxe. Is there anything else I should request? Maybe a back up long house?

Also DS will have a birthday during our trip. Any special Poly thing to request or buy?

Hi guys, Happy Monday!

Quick question about Capt Cook's...I'll be ordering a few groceries from garden grocer, but realized I forgot to order utensils. Are they out to grab at Capt Cook's? Is it ok to take some back to your room?

Also, I've been checking both weather.com and accuweather.com and they couldn't be more opposite. On our first full day, weather.com says rain, and accuweather says brilliant sunshine....huh?:confused3 I'm routing for team accuweather! :thumbsup2

I would not request a backup. remember, you always have the option of requesting something different once you get there and your room is assigned. Tokelau is a big building and your chances are good - maybe not the exact floor, but the bldg.

Yes- they did do a nice Easter egg hunt last Easter. It went by age groups and the kids all looked like they were having a blast. :goodvibes We went over tho the GF to see what they had, and they had character meet and greets and a breakfast buffet for their guests. I was jealous. :upsidedow

Yes, they have plenty of plastic utensils to grab and condiments too!

I would not rely on any weather forecast... I have found them to be very unreliable when predicting Florida weather.

Happy packing :wizard:
