I am sooooo envious of those who are there or getting ready to go! I so want to be back at the Poly! I have been home since Sunday and I have the serious post trip blues :sad1:

I've been looking at some pics from Tahiti and I'm wondering if you can actually see the EWP from your rooms? Seems like there's a lot of trees in the way and it's kindof around the corner??? :confused3

From a Lagoon view or MK view you can see it and probably more than once.

We had 3rd floor MKV room at Tahiti. We had a great view of Wishes but only partial view of EWP both when showing at Poly and CR we were quite dissapointed. Second night we walked up to the point which is very close and Fantastic view. One of the onlyd downsides to MKV at Tahiti IMHO.

Does anyone have any pics of the inside of the Neverland Club?
We're considering it next time around and I'd love some more info!

I don't know if they would even let you take pictures in there since some parents don't like there kids photographed. My kids 4,7,10 last year LOVED Neverland and DS now 8 said we could have as many nights out as we want as long as they go to NL :) LOL.

Interesting game with the tikis...I have not have thought of finding out the names. A new project for the next trip :thumbsup2

Boutiki Tiki...there are dozens of Tiki's scattered throughout Boutiki and the GHC!

OK...a new challenge has begun!

Ooooo I love the Idea of finding all the Tiki's. What a great Idea! Is there a list of all of them somwhere or should we try to make a unofficial list right here on the Ploy thread?

I don't think there's a list. We just decided to try to take photos of them all when we arrived at the Poly and had to wait a bit for bell services. There was a cute little tiki down by the entrance... and so it started...

the shower tiki...
the bou-tiki...
etc.

It made it extra fun to stay at the Poly!

Viewing EWP from Tuvalu was wonderful. We had a 2nd floor room with a TP view and the EWP came right by our room. My dd was thrilled with it. Now as to watching wishes each night, dd stayed in the bathroom while dh and I enjoyed it. DD doesn't like how loud fireworks are.

I have to second that - viewing EWP (and Wishes!) from TPV in Tuvalu was wonderful. :lovestruc

There may be some rooms with trees that would obstruct the view of EWP, but in 4 years of staying in Tahiti 3rd floor (and 1 year on the 1st floor when I broke my foot), we have never missed it. We stayed in Tuvalu some years ago, and yes, the view of EWP is perfect - but IMO the MK view is not as good. To me, there is just nothing better than the view across 7 seas towards the MK with the ferry boats coming and going and the Contemporary across the way...MAN I'm ready to go. 31 Days!!!

Does anyone know if the Polynesian does anything special on Easter? We will be there over Easter.

Not exactly a poly question..... but kind of....

If we watch Spectro from the Train Station and then hop the monorail can we make it back to Hawaii in time to see wishes at 10:00? Has anyone ever tried that?

We left during the parade once to make it back to GF once... but we didn't stay until the very end... which I think allotted us more time.

Could we take the boat and see wishes from there?

I would really like to make it back to the hotel....

you should have plenty of time. Just a suggestion - when you leave MK, check on the small boat to Poly - if it's there, grab it - even if you have to stop at GF on the way, it will be quicker than the monorail loop, or the ferry.
Another suggestion...take the TTC monorail and scurry thru the Poly back walkway. I suppose you don't have to scurry, but it seemed appropriate.

I was meaning the MK/TTC monorail... not the resort monorail, that does take longer... the parade is a nine right (we are going in august) and the fireworks start at ten... if we are at the trainstation that means we are catching the begining of the parade or the end?

the nighttime parade begins at the front of the park and proceeds towards the castle - so yep - you are right. but still don't forget about checking the small boat launch as you are heading up to the monorail platform.
