We are planning our 1st trip and are thinking about the Poly. DH really likes the idea that the monorail is there ;) We have 3 kids that are 7, 5 &3 ...Jodi

Think you are smart to choose a monorail resort. We origianlly booked at the AKL, but after really thinking long and hard, I changed and booked the Poly. My kids are still young and we always go back to the resort in the afternoon to rest.

If you are wondering about Longhouses, go to http://www.allears.net or http://www.tikimanpages.com. Both of these sites give maps and discriptions of each longhouse.

I think all but the Shuffles since they don't have that big slot at the bottom. It even worked with our iPhones, although it says that it doesn't.

Thank you! My kids have touches and I know they will be dead by the time we get there! lol

I'll be at the poly in 30 hours. Can I get beer with breakfast at the concierge lounge?

It seems like a bunch of us will be at the poly next week.Who all is going to be there?

I just realized I have to get my ADR's together. How did I miss that my 180 day is so close? :confused3

I have been laid up with the flu all week. I may need to take one more day of rest to figure this out ;)

Just had to post so I could see my ticker!!! :cool1::banana::cool1::banana:

One more week and we are on our way to the Poly!!! :cloud9:

BreezysMom, I hope you feel better really soon.:goodvibes It is so cold here another day to recuperate is probably a great idea!

So many of you will be there soon! Aloha to you all.:grouphug:

We're going to be there tomorrow!! I keep looking at the rainy weather forecast for next week, though, and I'm starting to dream of a club level upgrade. Hmm...

Ok fellow Poly lovers...

Should I keep the GV CL or go for the LV CL?

It's only a little bit more $$ and I really wouldn't mind facing the water.. :goodvibes

I agree with taylor3297, if it's in the budget go for it. While we weren't CL, we did have a TPV room when we went this fall and it was so worth it in our opinion. There was nothing better at night than to just relax on our balcony and watch the fireworks & EWP. The kids could be in their pj's by that time and winding down for the night. It worked out well. And it was so nice just to look out at night and see the castle all lit up off in the distance (we slept with the curtains open to enjoy the view). :thumbsup2
