I'm so jealous of all you SINGLE digit dancers!!! We still have 117 days to go!

Please post pictures or update us on the renovations if at all possible! That might help to make the wait more bearable for all of us with multiple digits yet to go.

I just came back from a long weekend with my mom, and now planning a vacation for myself and DS.............I think I'm going POLY! I love trying new resorts I'm still looking for one I call "my favorite" ...........:confused3

Hi everyone :wave2:

DH and I came to a final decision last night about where we'll stay for a few days before our Disney Fantasy cruise next year....

....and the winner is.....

:flower: Polynesian CL!!!!! :yay: :woohoo:

I'm looking forward to keeping up with the lastest Polynesian news, right here on the best resort thread on the DIS! :surfweb: :sunny:

So how disruptive have the room refurbs been for guests at the Poly? Is the noise audible from outside since the work is occurring indoors?

We are debating between the Poly and GF this January. The Poly concern is potential DVC construction, whereas the GF concern is potential room refurbs going on then. Just curious how disruptive room refurbs have been at the Poly since it also has outer buildings.

Thanks!

We were there for a week in February. We just saw some construction around Hawaii and Samoa and a couple of the walkways were closed. Didn't hear much noise.

First stay at the Poly booked for October 27th-November 3rd...Can't wait to stay at my dream resort!:cool1:

Anyone know about coffee in club lounge and in Hawaii rooms? I'm hoping for the switch to Joffery's before July!

I just wanted to join in with the single digit dancers :banana::banana:

This is our first trip to Disney and we are super excited about staying at the Poly (even though we aren't staying CL, maybe next time :thumbsup2).

We are at the Poly now and I have to say we have really been impressed! Very quiet and peaceful with some of the best CMs we have ever encountered at Disney. Love, love, love it here!

Hello all!

We are so excited to be checking into the Poly on 6/4!! We have a standard view room, and, after research online and the unofficial guide, I requested a balcony view (preferably 3rd floor) and the Tokelau house. We have two kids, a 7 and 11 year old, and I love the central location between the monorial, TTC, and my wife will likely use the GF health club as well. Thoughts on that request? I really just wanted to avoid the parking lot views more than anything...and I don't like ground floor patio rooms at that much.

Also, does anyone know if the Tokelau renovation has been completed? The unofficial website stated it should finish by April, but they often run long?

Thanks!

That's the same request I'll make for our August trip!! Sounds like our research led to the same conclusion. I've never been, so can't offer you my experience, but hoping you'll post back with yours :-). Have a great trip!!!
