Hoping the pics work this time guys! Only the Poly related pics from a couple weeks back.
The pond to the right by the entrance of the Poly. A nice welcome to the resort

Inside of our room - I really like the lighter decor compared to prior years after the refurb

View from our balcony of the quiet pool and grounds. For a standard room, we enjoyed the view.

Overhead shot of the Club lounge. We never had any problems with seating or food shortages.

3rd floor of Hawaii in the Club lounge. A good place to eat/watch tv/ or look outside as it was almost never taken

The relaxing view of the Poly is one of my favorite things about the resort. If you look to the right, you can see all of the bungalow construction. Nonetheless, the view of the castle is unobstructed

Taking a closer look at the bungalows toward the Contemporary

A snack given to us from the Chef. He is awesome and truly cares that the guests are enjoying his food. Another great member of the Hawaii staff.

View of the Grand walking back from the Fitness Center

Great view of the bungalow setup from the boat. This was a nice break from the crowded monorail with a cool breeze on the water!

Last day of the Volcano pool in all its glory! If only we had the pool available the entire trip it would have been perfect!

The day after. Cones start going up..

Pool is closed signs follow

And again...

Finally, I will fast-forward to Aug 2nd (our last day) where you see the pool is still filled with water and untouched...but of course blocked off. I wish they would have kept it open a bit longer if they weren't going to start on it yet.

Upstairs in the GCH. While the construction took out the middle of the building, the walls with pictures/props were a nice touch

Excellent french press coffee. As a big coffee drinker myself, I highly recommend :surf web:

No problems with Kona Cafe!

'OHANA is still our fav restaurant on property!
