I'm sorry if this has been asked, but what is the size of the daybed? I was wondering if my kids have already outgrown it.
All buildings have connecting rooms but if I remember the construction maps correctly, I think Tahiti has some rooms that connect on both sides. I have not done my Tahiti maps showing the connecting rooms yet so I will have to check to see if any do and what rooms they are. I will check Tokelau also but I don't think it does. I know Samoa does not have double connecting rooms.
I posted a walkthrough of my room from May on my Facebook page. I have not updated my site yet beause it is being replaced.
Checking in tomorrow!! Sorry to leave BC, but have always wanted to give Poky a try!!
Got my ME tags today!
I just did it...Changed to Poly Club Level for our December trip. Husband's idea. I can't believe it!!!!![]()
We will be there in 13 days!![]()

The fitness center at the GF Spa is actually listed as the fitness center for the Polynesian. Since it is located in between the two resorts it is actually as close to the Polynesian as it is the GF. The rooms in Aotearoa are actually closer than the GF rooms. The walk from Hawaii was about 5 minutes so a jog would be quicker. You will need resort ID but there is a weight room up front with all the exercise equipment and then down the hall is a sitting room that goes into the bathroom/ shower/ sauna/ hot tub area but there is a mens and a womans separately. I think I remember some fresh fruit and waters available in the sitting room that enters the bathroom. There is no charge for use of this.

I amo excited we are coming back to the Poly in 76days! Last time we got upgraded to CL TPV. It was wonderful!
This time we booked TPV, but CL would not really benefit us because we are on the platinum plan and already have the IPs helping. The food is awesome, but we will be eating enough with the dining plan.
The service is what I am wondering about...I loved the attention we received in CL. They were amazing. We were celebrating our 5th anniversary and got gifts like signed anniversary cards and a chocolate postcard...nearly every day...WOW...We needed help rebooking part of the platinum plan items because of bad weather. The CL staff never let us down.
For those repeat guests who have done both CL and regular...we're you happy with the service you received with non CL?
I doubt magic will strike twice so I am not counting on an upgrade. I can dream though!

I take it this is 1 way....looks like it may be close to the same price for us to rent a car. $190 for 10 days and that saves us from tipping ME and the bellhop for our bags (so $30 saved). We would spend at least $120 in taxi fares.
I know I am 4 foot 11 and I fit on the daybed very easily. My sons are about 5 foot 10 and 5 foot 4 and they both fit on it also. It is about as long as a twin but I am iffy on if it is as wide. I know I am overweight, my sons are thin and we all fit on it nicely.
If you could go CL the next time I would. You will not get the kind of service with a regular room as you did with CL. They do have a concierge of sorts but they are dealing with the entire rest of the resort and wont be able to give you the kind of one on one you got at CL.
Nice to know someone is as petite as I am. Now if I could only get to my goal weight I wold be really happy.I'm 4'11 too! Lol

I don't think you'll be disappointed.we've been so happy here. It is the most relaxing atmosphere. CL staff has been so friendly and helpful, the lounge is huge (we like it so much better than BWI, where we stayed last year.), redone rooms are lovely. Everything has been amazing!
We leave for AKL CL tomorrow and I really hope we're as happy there![]()
Does anyone know if the stores sell large bottles of water like gallon size? Even with no refrigerator I would like to have water on hand in the room. Thanks!
Thank you for this comparison. We haven't stayed CL in a while because our last experience was at BWI and we weren't that impressed. Maybe we'll give the Poly a try!
Just checked into the Poly CL yesterday. Everything has been perfect so far! And just FYI, fridge works fine.

I am SO excited!! I was able to rebook Ohana at 8:35 instead of the 9:50 we had and was able to get Rose and Crown for 7:30 to do Illuminations. I figure they wont get us in exactly at 7:30 so it will fit better with Illuminations start time of 9:00 PM. Everything is falling into place for this to be a truly magical trip. Can't wait to be home at the Poly! Only 12 days now!
