I would have considered Pop, but we are a family of 5. I double checked with the Hyatt and the baggage handlers will take your luggage to ME in the morning. You just need to attach your ME tags in the am and setup a pickup time. We will still have to get our luggage the night before and deal with it on the way home, but at least we won't have to worry about it when checking in that morning. We are gonna take 1 carryon bag with us so we have swimsuits and my welcome to the world decorations for my kiddos.

Is the daybed more like a futon in that it pulls out? What size is it? Could you attach bed rails to it or just to the queen? And speaking of bed rails, do you request those at check-in? Does someone "install" them for you?

A pool noodle also makes an excellent bed rail. You just slide it under the fitted sheet.

All this talk of CL makes feel like I'm SO missing out! I'll just have to survive our plain ole standard view room. Good thing it's the Poly so it wouldn't matter to me if I was in a cardboard box on the beach - as long as that box was at the Poly!

I can relate. But at the same time if we stayed CL aka if we could afford that, then I would feel like I was missing out on eating around the world. Yeah I know the lounge food isn't a meal but do I really need to get my fill of hors devours and then go get dinner?

That's how we felt about our two CL stays (CR and BWI.) You either end up taking full advantage of the lounge OR you end up enjoying all the great restaurants WDW has to offer, but we really didn't have the appetites for both. We found it was so nice to have the breakfast options and occasionally we'd be around for the evening dessert time, but that little bit wasn't really worth it to us for the money it cost to stay CL. We didn't really take full advantage of other CL things since I LOVE to do all the planning myself, so staying CL again is something we debate since we're not sold on it being the best use of our money.

I have been wanting to stay at the Poly for a long time, and I always said when I did I would stay CL but when I went to book and say the huge price difference and as there is just 2 of us the value is not there.

It seems most save by having breakfast in the lounge but we like to enjoy a nice TS breakfast while on Vacation in addition we are both on meds so can not partake of the alcoholic beverages which is also a big selling point for CL.

Eating at the Various restaurants is a favorite of ours while in Disney and seems CL for us anyway would be a waste.

Will we automatically get fresh flower leis, or should I go ahead and place an order for them?

That's a good question! We've celebrated many anniversaries and birthdays at the Poly and we've never been given fresh flower leis. So I'm not sure how that works.

I don't believe I've seen fresh flower leis at the Poly in years!

I know upon arriving they will give you leis and sometimes at Ohanas when they know you have a birthday or anniversary they give you leis but none of them are fresh flowers..

It says they can be ordered at the gift shop... You can get the Poly resort number and ask for the gift shop and place an order there I guess..

We go every yr for our anniversary in Sept and I've never seen them! Ill be in the look out now!

No, I doubt you can get it to go. They serve the 100% Kona in a press pot. You can go to Kona Island and get a cup of the Kona blend to go.

They have the 100% press pot to go at the island as well. You just have to wait for it to brew

Here now on our honeymoon. We checked in yesterday and the CM walked over to see if she could get us one. They didn't have anything made so she had one sent up to the room when it was ready. I had no idea that they had fresh ones so that was a real nice surprise. However, reading the replies here it sounds like what we got is not common.
