Anyone heard anything about the Poly being included in the magic band testing pool? I really want to try these :yay:

We are booked from 8/3 to 8/10. Question: who do you contact to make room requests? I have never stayed at the Poly before. We only have a standard room booked at this point. I have two small kids...should I place a request or leave it to chance? Which building should we request? I want easy transportation to MK, Epcot, and our dining at the GF. A nice view wouldn't hurt either. ;)

We are arriving the same day and leaving on the 12th.

Look at tikimans site for the building request. What some like, others don't. I prefer Tokelau and would hate to stay on the side close to the marina but that is me.

No, they are taking them DURING the meal!!! Which isn't bad..but there is no set pattern to Stitch he just goes from one area to another..... But then again it was only Day 5 of the new "test" experience, so if they keep it then maybe they can iron out the details.
I love Stitch and would love to have him in my picture, but waiting 2 1/2 hours for him was a bit much!!!!

Hhhmmm...that's interesting. I wish they would do that at the beginning of the meal. Hopefully they get it all figured out and still have the Stitch Experience when I'm there!!! We were not going to eat breakfast at Ohana this year because it was not that great last year, although the prior 2 yrs it was good, but went ahead and booked breakfast there yesterday morning. Can't wait and hopefully it's better than last year!!!

Question on 'Ohana dinner - we got ADR for 9:10PM on 11/29 and Wishes is 10PM that day.

Is that too late for dinner? Can we got there early? Our flight arrives at 5:40pm and we are staying at BLT. So I am thinking that we will be ready to go for dinner by 7:30 to 8PM.

I have 2 kids DS5 and DS1 and they usually have dinner at home around 6pm. So worried about time.

Been thinking of switching to Chef Mickey which is at 8:25pm BUT we have never been to 'Ohana and I've read that it's. great way to start a WDW vacation

That's completely up to you if you think 9:10 pm is too late for dinner. Me personally, I would not want to eat dinner that late. If they have an opening for 7:30 pm at Ohana that would be better. Were you planning on watching Wishes from the Poly beach?

Yes but probably have to do it from the window while we eat assuming we get a window. I will keep trying for an earlier reservation

2 days till we leave for Florida and 8 days till we check in for 9 nights at the Poly!!! So excited!!!! First time on site!

Awesome thread, it made me book 8 night in December but I have a question, how do you put requests in for certain rooms and what would be the best standard to request? It was a stretch for us to do a delux but its a surprise for the family so I splurged but would love a good room to request

Thank you!

You would call the regular reservation number to make requests :). We stayed in Samoa and loved the location as it was just steps from everything. Have a great trip......the Poly is an awesome resort......you're going to love it :goodvibes.

Hello fellow Poly lovers. This is my families favorite resort my wife is seriously ill and the outlook is grim. Thoughts and well wishes for the whole family to return with her would be appreciated. TY

Prayers and good thoughts for you and your family, hoping you all make it back for another magical trip.

I have a strange request - once you're back, any chance you can post what the evening offerings are for Saturday? From other posts, I've been able to piece together the offerings for all the other nights, but I'm still missing Saturday. Thanks!!

Ohhh- I would love to see your list! Could you post or add to the CL post? TIA
