You guys deserve a special day to be recognized as the hard working, loving, problem solving, and dedicated Mothers that you are! Please know that most fathers and kids recognize and worship the ground you walk on! Keeping a family running is a huge task that over the years has changed. making what you do even harder!
So today I pause from my self absorbed, self indulgent, cheese ball eating, video game playing bliss to recognize you all! THANK YOU for being a MOM!

Had a great time at the Poly last week. I loved the Hawaii building, but was disapointed that the pool wasn't open.

A funny thing happened on the drive home. We were in a Wendy's in....Virginia I think it was. There was a girl sitting at a table next to us, and she was on the phone. My ears perked up when I heard her say Disney. Now, I dont usually eavesdrop(sp?) on peoples phone conversations, but I couldn't help it. She started talking about the Poly! I just found it amazing that we were at the same place, at the same time with both of us either coming from or going to the Poly. Small World!

You didn't happen to be in Charlottesville, VA by any chance? Could have been DD#2 & I since we are headed to the Poly in TEN DAYS!!! Being in different cities, we're ALWAYS talking or e-mailing back & forth about the Poly! We're both getting so excited we're driving her DDad (my DH) crazy!! He says he's gonna be sick of it before we even GET there!! (Though I couldn't imagine that EVER happening!!)

I CANNOT WAIT to have a Lapu Lapu and see where the Tiki Gods determined my room will be!!!

Hi everyone,
We are booked at Poly for the first week in August. It will be our third stay here. I was wondering if anyone happens to have a recent copy of activities around the resort? I would love to read a copy of it. Also thinking about renting a cabana for our pool day. Do the rentals book up right away?

I'm so excited! We've been planning our 5th Disney trip for this August. We've stayed offsite twice (earlier years) and our last 2 trips were at CSR and POR/WL split stay. We were planning to book POR, but my husband surpised me on Mothers Day by telling me that he booked us at the Poly! We've always wanted to stay at a monorail resort and Poly was our number 1, but we just couldn't justify the extra cost. He decided to just go for it. The kids (DS-10, DD-6) and I are SO EXCITED! I've loved reading through your posts and seeing all the pics. CAN'T WAIT TIL AUGUST!!!

What a fantastic Mother's Day surprise!! I'm sure you will have a fabulous time at the Poly! Just a warning though ... it's addictive. Once you've stayed there no other resort will do!

BOY, do I ever wish I would have bet on the Kentucky Derby Saturday! With going to DW and the Poly in just TEN short days (actually 9 d, 17 h, 50m, not that I'm anxious!), I absolutely would have bet on Animal Kingdom! Could have paid for my whole trip, or at LEAST a bunch of Lapu Lapus!!!
