Hey, has anyone else seen the Toy Story Hawaiian Vacation short at the beginning of Cars 2? We just saw it this afternoon and I loved it. The luau at the Bonnie Likeoki Resort reminded me of the Poly. I especially liked Spanish Buzz as the fire dancer!

Have not stayed at Poly for a while, but this will be our first stay there CL-really looking forward to it. Should we request a specific room? We have laggon view. Who has used the cabanas? Anyone regret it?

We loved CL in 2009! We love the third floor for the view and not having anyone over us. Our kids really loved CL and appreciated everything it offered. that made me feel even better about it.

The cabanas were not available at that time. I would do it for the shade if I could. Relax and enjoy the resort. It has so much to offer. I love it there as much as I do the parks.

Count us in here too! They bicker over covers, space, etc. I hope all the rooms have a day bed. Ds14 will love it.

And here I've been thinking my kids are freaks. As kids we would have piled in like kittens at the chance to visit Disney again.

It must be a guy thing. We were visiting the in-laws and ran out of beds. Given the boy/girl/age combination, it would have been easiest if DH and one of the teen boys shared a bed. Nope, DH was almost as freaked out about it as the boys were! And this is a man who shared a bed with 2 of his brothers until they were in high school

LOL Just took my kids to see that and my DD commented how it reminded her of the Poly! The fire dancing Buzz was hysterical! It was a great short.

God Im so jealous of everyone at the Poly right now!! I hope the weather co-operates and everyone has magical stays! I guess I will content myself with knowing my trip is paid and today DH and I are having a "date night" and day..

Just got back Friday. We had a wonderful week. temperature wise and everything wise! Temps were in the 80's all week. We did NOT do online check-in and had our requests met 100% Everything went according to plans perfectly. Enjoyed every minute of the trip! I had requested turn down service for the duration of the trip and only received it 1 night. I requested early mousekeeping by noon and that request was met each day! Already having PPD (Post Poly Depression

But the half ounce of Bacardi 151 is 151 proof! Regular rum is only 80 proof so that is some POTENT rum!

1/2 oz. of 151 = less than 1 oz. of 80 proof. That's the equivalent of less than 2 oz. of rum. Not strong at all.

I just watched it a few days ago and I thought the same thing! I loved it, it also got me excited about Aulani this February!

I actually liked the first floor. My DH complained a little that he could hear people above us - but most nights we were so tired it didn't bother us. The reason I liked it a lot is because I have small children and after they were asleep DH and I could sit on the patio - and one of us could go around to the main entrance and get some drinks from the club without us having to walk through the room and bother the kids. That being said - although it would take them a while to fall asleep - once they were asleep a marching band could have gone through that room and they wouldn't have woken up!

I have not tried a lapu lapu yet but I am very excited to. Regarding the 151 rum that can definitely add some potency. There is a specialty drink at one of the shore bars here called a "302" it is basically a frozen daquiri in any flavor you choose but with 2 full shots of Bacardi 151. That is a nice way to start off an evening!

Happy 4th of July everyone! We are up near Traverse City, MI and we were watching fireworks last night when my DD5 stated that she missed WDW and the fireworks here just weren't the same.

Gotta love the little kids, still happy but had the whole group thinking about our upcoming trips.

For anyone in WDW tonight - we would love to see some pictures if you have time to post.

Pour layer of Island Oasis Raspberry in empty glass. Build remaining ingredients in blender over ice, freeze & pour over raspberry.

1.25 ounces Bacardi Razz
3 ounces Bacardi Pina Colada
1 ounce Island Oasis Raspberry
