Our family is also arriving 7/31 at the Poly CL.. I'm already thinking about the drinks I'm going to order while I'm there, I'm so OCD and obsessed with planning Disney trips it might be wierd to just BE at the polynesian, but I will have to deal with it while I tip it at the pool bar and lay out on the beach!!

Oh Wow all three of us will be there around the same time! What about drinks by the pool one evening!

Cool! Hey anyone going to be at the Poly Sept 10-18th PM lets see if we can get a group together to have a few drinks around the pool or somewhere at the resort!

I will be there 9/18 - 9/25. You can see the pic of my family in my avatar. It's a tad small and it was taken last year but that's pretty much us. My husband gets mistaken for Brett Favre at Disney so look for a guy that kind of looks like him (I see the resemblence but it isn't that much alike IMO!) We are bringing friends of ours (a couple about our age) who will be going for their FIRST time EVER!!! We will be at the pool EVERY AFTERNOON. I will be the one hunting for a shaded table which if I snag it, I will happily share And I will definitely have tropical drinks in BOTH hands I have lime green mickey heads and God help me if I remember them...but I'll try and put them on the table or near my chair (if I can get one) so it's obvious that I'm a DISer.

We are arriving early on 9/18. We are driving down after work on the 17th and staying off-site, getting up before the crack of dawn, and heading to the Poly. We should be there by 7am!!

We are only staying until 9/21, though.

We will be the ones with the LOUD toddler. Seriously, she doesn't have an inside voice. It's going to be me, DH, DD8, DD17 months, DH's mom, and DH's grandma.

I'm sure we'll be seeing y'all by the pool!

Hi Poly Lovers.

My daughter's dance team is going down to Disney World to participate in the Disney Magic Music Days Dance Performance. The team will be staying at the All Star Music Resort for five days in October. Being Poly Lovers ourselves staying at the All Star Music Resort just won't do so we decided to go down five days earlier to get our Poly fix.

Now my question, this will be our first split stay and I would appreciate any info on how I get our luggage transferred between the resorts. I would like our bags pickup and stored at the poly and then delivered to the All Star Resort later in the day. We will need to meet the team at the All Star Music Resort at 4pm for group check-in.

Also, has anyone had trouble with DME dropping of at one resort and picking up at another? I am a little concerned because the two reservations are completely separate. One being for our family and another being for the group. And we are not on the same flights as the group, our flight leaves a few hours later then the rest of the team.

When you're ready to check out of Poly, call bell services and tell them how many bags you'll need picked up from your room and transferred to ASMu. When you check into your room at ASMu, call bell services when you're ready for your stuff to be delivered.

You have 2 reservations. Your DME arrival will be tied to your first reservation at Poly. Your DME return will be tied to your second reservation at ASMu. It really is as simple as that.

We actually stayed at 3 resorts on our last trip and had no problems getting baggage transfered or the ME. Its great to way to explore new resorts.

I'm positively giddy with excitement! I saw they also added some second showings of the MSEP.

I'll look for you in the lounge; I have three boys and my middle son is also 10. Seems like boys always tend to gravitate toward each other at the pool.

Just a note for my fellow August Poly peeps: I saw they've added some second showings of Fantasmic throughout the month.

How do you find that info? I'm looking all over the place and just can't find a Fantasmic! schedule! Looking specifically for August 3rd.

If you are on the DIS you can click near the top of the page where it says Theme Parks and then look up the park hours and show schedules from that page. And surprisingly they've updated the official site calendar. When you are on the calendar month view, you can click on an individual day. They've also updated the travel agents calendar...I just google that one.

So, anyway, I looked it up and yes they did add a 10:30 showing of Fantasmic on August 3rd. Have a great trip!

OMG, me too!! I saw my countdown calendar today said 15 days and I suddenly feel like running home and pulling out suitcases, LOL.

How old is your youngest son? My DS 7 loves making new friends and we plan on spending a lot of time at the pool, LOL!! I have a feeling we will be running into you a lot at the pool and the lounge (since we are going at almost the same time - 4th thru 14th for us).

We'll be there at the same time too!! Sept 20-27th with DH (for our honeymoon) and it's his first trip to Disney ever! My first at the Poly though!!

Beers were the least expensive at around $6 or so, and up. The pool bar specialty drinks were all around $8-$12 each. We had a Lapu Lapu from the pool bar and I believe it was over $12 per drink. If you get them at Tambu I believe the drink is more pricey because it comes in the pineapple.

The drinks at the pool bar are expensive. As are drinks everyone at the Poly and WDW.

We would buy a drink at the pool bar, but wouldn't hesitate to bring a drink from our room in an insulated cup (and on a couple of occassions a cooler with several drinks on ice)
