For those of you that upgraded to CL, can you tell me how long it took you to get the upgrade? Or was it instant?

We're trying very hard to upgrade to garden view GL, but it seems like it hasn't been released yet for booking. Lagoon view was though. Trying not to stress because our trip is in 3 months!

I booked mine online and just selected the CL level that I wanted during the booking process. Are you using a pin code? They may not have any more of those rooms available for that particular discount.

Well you don't have to worry about being a packing freak alone, LOL. I haven't actually pulled the suitcases out yet, but I have had stacks/bags of things for a while now. Any time I picked up something (new goggles for the kids, moleskin, etc, etc, LOL), I added it to the WDW stash pile. That pile is overflowing now :rotfl2:

I have family in town this week but they are leaving Sunday morning so I think I will pull the suitcases out then. :yay::yay::yay:

It is going to take me a while to figure out how to get all of our stuff to FL and still meet the airlines baggage requirements, LOL.

I have 3 suitcases out already, stacks around our room, iron and transfer sheets out since I am working on our t-shirts, activity bags for the boys in the car..... etc etc etc!!! I am SO excited.... but really, aren't we all?

Thanks for the soy milk replies!! We're not staying CL, so hopefully they have it at Capt. Cook's. It's actually for me, I put it on my cereal, so I just need plain old soy milk, though, vanilla would work, too.

I am. After this first week I called and nothing. I think since there is Lagoon View and Theme Park view (still) that they might be releasing these rooms for pins?

I am going to keep trying. It was really tempting for the LV CL, but its out of our reach at the moment.

Thanks for the quick response! :goodvibes

Are you looking at AP discounts? For my dates, I had looked almost every day for a couple weeks and all that showed as available for CL was TPV. Well, one day up pops GV. I jumped on it. The next day GV wasn't showing again. When I booked I did check to see if I move our checkin a day earlier (we're starting our trip a week earlier at POFQ so it's just a matter of when we switch resorts) but there wasn't any availability for that earlier date.

There just may not be enough need for discounting the GV CL rooms over your dates for Disney to offer a discount. Keep checking because it can happen (as it did for me). I would though be working on a plan B in case you don't find any GV CL rooms with a discount for your dates.

I didn't think you meant CL--I saw it at Captain Cook's in the refrigerated section.

Hey, Logpey, since we're arriving on the same day and my ticker stopped working I'm just looking at yours to see how long we have!:thumbsup2
Maybe we'll see you there. We aren't staying CL, however. We've requested Tokelau, but who knows.....

I've had one bag set out in my room with all my kids pirate hats, water bottle sprayers, pin trading lanyards (Kids) and new clothes for trip for about a month now- My husband never even teased me (thats a first) I guess he's use to the Disney madness!!!!:rotfl:

Just trying to be organized for trip, they don't understand all this planning makes their stay so much smoother--they are lucky we're so obsessed!! Right????:thumbsup2

I admit, my DH is finally getting on board with my planning, LOL. Although he knows that when it comes to Disney, I will always be armed with information from the boards for us (we have been DLR AP'ers for 9 years now).

Usually when we travel though, I pack everything for me and the kids and he throws his stuff in his own bag at the last minute, LOL. But this time he has been agreeing with me more than usual the last few days  He is digging out our spray bottles and he thinks the neck coolers are a very good idea. We have been discussing bag options (who carries what to the parks) and water bottle choices, LOL. He even agreed with my idea to do the ziplock bag inside the suitcases and to put some of each person's clothing in each suitcase (in case one suitcase goes missing, one person will not be completely without clothing). I'm not used to so much cooperation from him :rotfl2:

Hi everyone - here are a few pics from our recent CL stay. We had a great time but it started to get really crowded last Saturday. CL was great, the CMs were very nice and helpful and the CMs in the lounge were always very pleasant. We had room #3524 - GV. I'll post more a bit later about it.

Our room was READY at 8:30 a.m.!!!! Emma was pretty excited!

It was so cute, we had Emina as a mousekeeper every day and she was just amazing. Hope you get them too! I have lots more pics that I'll post in dribs and drabs, I don't want to bore everyone with all of my photos!!! But here's a cool one for now:

They are lucky! I missed your post to me earlier...my boys are 12, 10 and 7.

Ha! My husband humored me by going through his shirts so I could mark on my spreadsheet what to pack for him. I'm going to try to spread out our clothing some too so I want a good list.

I got the Frogg Togg Chilly Pads. Is that the kind of neck coolers you have? I used one at my son's swim meet last week and it seemed to help.

Bore me! Please!! I have 59 days to kill and I'm just starting the freaking out/crawling out my skin with excitement process - help me pass the time more pleasantly!

Hahah, you asked for it! Okay, I'll had a few each day so that you can get more and more excited!!! Here's another one:

Great pictures! Is that a monkey hanging from the lamp? :lmao:My boys love that picture. I'm glad you had a wonderful trip.

Yes, it was sooo cute! DH didn't quite get it, but DD and I loved them! We did have a wonderful trip and I'm so sad that it's over, but I'll have to start planning another one. It's going to be hard because DD is going away to school next year, so things will definately be different! :( DH isn't as big of a fan as I am so I may have to recruit my sister for my next trip!

I bought some neck coolers from Amazon but then I read about someone (on another board) that makes them in Disney patterns and ordered 4 of those from her. They are so cute, and I think my kids are more likely to use them if they have Mickey Mouse on them, LOL.

That was one thing that I thought my DH would tease me about for sure, but he said that his work provides them (he works outdoors) in the summer and they work pretty good :)
