I just thought I would take a quiet moment to log on and say 'Goodbye' as it may be the last chance I get during the next few hectic days.
Although we don't actually fly until Tuesday morning - Virgin from Manchester :thumbsup2 - we are at Liverpool all day tomorrow as we are off to Anfield to watch them take on Chelsea (come on The Reds). We then travel to Manchester on Monday as we are staying over-night at the Radisson.
I do hope to pop on at some point over the next couple of days but just in case I don't I will take this opportunity now to say a HUGE 'Thank you' to all of you who have given us advice, tips and answered our questions as we prepared for this trip. I would also like to thank those who asked the questions that I hadn't even thought of, adding to the ever growing list of things-to-do, meaning another trip to the House of the Mouse is never far away.
We are taking our laptop with us and if time allows - probably when I am sat by the pool waiting for one of the 2 ladies in the house to finish getting ready for our day, or night, out - I will post about what we have been up to.
Bye for now

:dancer:

I missed this when you posted. You should be well into your first day by now - hope you're having fun!

Hello buddy, hopefully you all had an un-eventful flight and are now out and about enjoying what we all go there for. Have a great time catch up with you soon and enjoy it. Well done the reds bet you were sweating for a while.

Weather should be good :)

Claire ;)

Hi All
Well, here we are.
As promised I have managed to steal a few minutes. It is 8am here, I have just had a spot of brekkie and will be getting everybody else up soon (seems that they needed a lie in this morning)
After a night at the Radisson and an uneventful flight over we finally arrived at the villa at around 4pm on Tuesday evening - and it us huge. It has five bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, gamesroom etc etc. so we are more than happy with it.
Once we had dropped the bags off and had a quick freshen up we headed off to downtown so we could swap our vouchers and buy our APs and Tables in wonderland card. While we where there we went to Earl of Sandwich for a bite, then it was back to the villa for some much needed rest.
Yesterday we were up with the lark - as is always the case on the first morning here - so we headed off for AK to get there nice and early for a safari. It seemed a little strange jumping on the train from the car park and having to do our jackets right up to the neck and pull our hands in to the sleeves, but it really was cold. When you get in the sun, and there is no wind it is quite nice, but once that wind blows it is really cold. The forecast is for better weather by the weekendso we are looking forward to that so we can make use of the pool here.
Today our plan is to head off to DD as we have reservations at T-Rex for lunch. Aftet that - and a bit of shopping I would expect - we are probably going to go to Premuin Outlets so DW can spend a small fortune in the Fossil shop, and then we hope to go to Old Town this evening for the Bike Rally.
A busy day planned then - so I had better get everyone else motivated and on the move.
I will pop on over the next few days - hopefully with a few pics.
Thanks for all the messages so far - you are a friendly bunch aren't you.

Sounds like you have had a good start :) At least you are missing all the snow over here - hope it gets a bit warmer for you.
