(Almost) Solo in May - Update 11/17 - Not sure if I'd call that Pixie Dust!

Love the pictures of dinner! That app looks like more than a meal:thumbsup2 We always eat at the fast food Mexican place and love it. I would love to try La Hacienda next time. Im drooling just looking at the pics:lovestruc

I would say that normally at La Cava, yes they are strong. Which for me I like. If I'm going to pay that much for a drink, I want value! :rotfl: The first time I went to La Cava in fact, we ordered a couple of the classics. We were at the actual bar. Jeff and I each took a sip or two and the CM/bartender came by and said, "You ordered those "strong", right?"

And topped them off with a floater!

So yeah, be careful if you rarely drink, it is called the Ditch for a reason.

I had that taco trio as my entree when we were there in May, I loved it! It is a gorgeous gorgeous spot for Illuminations, my favorite so far for sure.

Funny tipsy pic!

Yum...dinner there looked great.
I bet I know you most favorite Illuminations spot to date now. ;)
I am glad you are updating...it will make you closer to writing about the AEP trip...and I am interested in your version...You may even pass me right up. I am going so slow on it.

The only drink I've ever had at Epcot was the Orange drink in France which is AMAZING! I could just sit and drink that all day... someone help me out here... what's it called? I can't remember! All I remember was I got to the bottom and wanted to go to bed! It was strong, but delicious!:cool1:

I also had a margarita last time. And it was quite strong. After a quarter I felt tipsy and my mom says I smiled a lot hehe

Your La Cava update was hilarious! I had the avacado margarita and it was really good. Let's just say I had only eaten half of a school bread that day so I had to do the Kim Possible Tour w/ my kids slightly tipsy. Great moment in parenting....:rolleyes1 A combo of the Aug. heat and the drink and I was feeling tipsy and quesy. After some food I was A-ok! They pack a suprising punch for us lightweights, the free flight would have sent me for a loop!:cool1::lmao::upsidedow

Great Illuminations view Brook!! :thumbsup2

Another lightweight here... I think I'll avoid La Cava!

I remember.. its was the Orange Grand Marnier in France... it's a frozen drink and it's FABULOUS!

Can't believe that was your first adult drink at Disney! :goodvibes Actually, I completely understand; we're not really big drinkers, either. And a flight and a margarita would have had me diving for those chips, too! Definitely some nice birthday pixie dust. :goodvibes And what an amazing viewing spot for Illuminations. Love all the pictures you got, especially the ones of the globe.

That view of Illuminations looks amazing! I've never seriously considered La Hacienda before, but a window table would be really cool. :goodvibes

I'm not entirely sure how I missed that you started this! Joining in :)

If you're up for another Margarita, try the Blood Orange one...yum!

Hello! I was just catching up on your other thread and somehow just noticed the link to this report, so wanted to sub here, as well. Better late than never? :rolleyes1

I hope you and your family had a wonderful holiday! I look forward to going back and reading the beginning of this report.

A little late joining but I just caught up and can't wait for more updates! You always have my favorite TR's Brook! One strong margarita is all it takes for me; the flight would definitely push me over the edge! :lmao: La Hacienda looks fantastic. I think they will have to make it to the front of my ressies for our next trip. I'm a major mexican food lover and those tacos have me drooling!:woohoo:

Your food looks delicious Brook! I love Mexican food. Yum!! Do you think kids would enjoy it? Were the spices pretty tame? I do not drink at all so better stay far away from those margaritas. Ha!!!

Catching up. I'm luvin all the pics. The tipsy pic is funny I have never had an adult drink at Disney I dunno why although I do really want a glowing drink like the ones in Brown Derby reviews.
Love the Illuminations pics.
