Almost Ready

Had a great cruise, now back at the BC for 11 nights of bliss! Had some pixy dust already, we have been upgraded from a standard view to a water view with full balcony, so I am a very happy chappy, as I was prepared to pay for it! We are on the dining plan, so we are consuming the equivalent of our own body weight in food every day! The weather has been great so far, rain forecast tomorrow, then it's a bit cooler but dry for the rest of the week. Had amazing weather at Castaway Cay, we made full use of our cabana, we were some of the last people to get on the boat. The dining experience at Paulo was brilliant and the kids clubs were top notch. Only negative was the constant crowding around the kids pools. Will post pics and some more detail when we get back. Glad you enjoyed the cruise. We did it last year infact it was nov 12th . Loved it and loved our stateroom (8008 massive window porthole). I too found the pools very busy. Only did aquaduck twice in 4 days. Well done on your upgrade. Never been fortunate to have any but normally get the area I request. Would like to hear your views on BC. There are 2 nights available for our dates in april through dvc. Have a fantastic 11 nights.

BC was good, it was made better by the upgrade to a water view room with a large balcony. The rooms are large enough, house keeping was on the whole poor, despite my $5 a day tip that i left in the hope they might up their game. The location is excellent and it is a very convenient resort to stay in. Transport on the buses was poor (usually full and lots of additional stops), had better service at AKV. Food options are good, with a variety of quick, counter and fine dining options close by. Stormalong Bay was great fun and is well policed to prevent any interlopers! It is a very busy bustling hotel, although for some peace and quiet there was another pool area that you could use that was always empty and quiet. One point of note is that the hotel is used for conventions and you can get large groups of conventioneers around the place, which IMO changes the feel. On the whole we liked it and it served its purpose very well on this trip.
