So I've been officially planning this trip for over a year now and still can't decide on all of our dining!! Here's the details: we are traveling April 26th-May 3rd for our Disney Wedding (on April 28th) and honeymoon. We will be at the GF the night of the 26th and 27th, then we move to YC (Club Level
) on the 28th (checking in around 4 PM after our wedding reception). We will have the Deluxe Dining Plan during our YC stay... yes we know it's A LOT of food, we did it on our last trip and loved it.
I'm still having trouble deciding on our arrival night and last night restaurants. We are driving down and plan to arrive in Disney around 2 PM, but we are bringing our dogs, so we have to get them settled into Best Friends before we check in. I planned on just hanging around the Grand on our arrival day since this will be our first (and probably only) stay there.
Right now I have Narcoossee's at 7:30 PM for the 26th so we can hopefully see the fireworks, BUT I keep reading about how inconsistent they are regarding service and food quality... and I don't eat seafood. I've been considering Citricos, and the menu looks appealing, but the atmosphere seems lacking when compared to Narcoossee's. Of course, I would LOVE to do V&A's since we will be staying at the GF.. it's technically in the budget, but I'm frugal and just don't know if I can justify the cost
I've also been looking at the intimate/private dining experience on the GF balcony, but the price is close to V&A and I don't know how the food quality would be.
And for the last night we have Monsieur Paul booked, but once again I'm not confident in my choice. We will be in Epcot our last day, so I want to do a restaurant in that area. The menu at Flying Fish is slightly more appealing to me than MP, but I haven't been able to find many positive reviews since it reopened.
So help me decide: Narcoosee's or Citricos and Monster Paul or Flying Fish!
Other restaurants we will already be dining at on the trip: 1900 Park Fare breakfast, CRT, Artist Point, Beaches and Cream (maybe between our brunch wedding reception and dessert party), CG brunch, Spice Road Table, Mama Melrose, 'Ohana, Tusker House breakfast, Tiffins, Jiko, Crystal Palace breakfast, Via Napoli
