I need some help with where to find these online to be delivered to resort! We arrive Sat. 26th and are doing a split stay. Here's what I've got so far.

Garden Grocer - at checkout it said minimum order of $40 plus $14 delivery fee!

Staples - can do the water with free ship but doesn't have my Almond Milk.

Walmart - works too w/$6 ship but the water doesn't arrive till 12/1 and we are doing a split stay.

Amazon Prime - we are NOT members.

PLUS - I am reading disboard posts saying there is now a $5 resort delivery fee.

*If the counter services at the resorts offer Almond Milk then that would solve my problem. Does anyone know if they do? In the past, I think it was Soy and I can't have that.

Thanks for your help!!!!!

Are you flying? Can you find shelf stable almond milk and pack it in your checked bags? If so, be sure to put it ziploc bags to be extra safe ;-)

Yes, we are flying (and have to pay for each piece of luggage) Have you done that before? I thought about that and we are too scared it will bust!!!

Safeway delivers as well now, and they have better prices than Garden Grocer (whom I've used over the years several times).

Still not sure how the new $5 fee works, but with Safeway you can set a delivery window and meet them at the bell services I presume.

I use them at home from time to time, mostly in the winter or if I have sick kids (DD used to get ill very frequently, so it was a wonderful service).

PS: they also deliver beer and wine. Just in case...

I haven't done it myself, but I don't think this would be too hard to transport. I'd be more worried with glass or carbonated containers, but those "boxed" milk cartons seem pretty sturdy. Especially if you ziploc it and pack it in the middle of your clothes for padding. Good luck!

There are a couple things to keep in mind when hauling liquid in your checked bags. First, it will increase the weight of your bag very quickly, so be careful how much you put in each bag. Second, it is wise to double or triple bag your milk. If it breaks your clothes will all need to be washed, some of your items may be ruined, and you could very well ruin the bags of other flyers.

Okay, just can't stick it in our luggage. I've googled Safeways and can't come up with one close to WDW.
Goodings came up though...anyone use that?

ETA: I just came across this for Goodings -

I've packed bottles of alcohol in my checked luggage many times and it never broke. put it in a ziplock and plastic bag and then wrap your clothes around it (a shirt or two and maybe a sweater) you can even drop it on the ground once its wrapped to test it out lol

I have packed 2 containers of shelf stable almond milk and an entire box of wine in my luggage. All made it just fine. I double ziplock bagged the milk. for the wine I wrapped it in a towel... then a big zip lock storage bag...then another towel. For the trip home the zip lock bags and towels wrapped up the souvineers and we loved the space in the suitcase. Now I would never bring red wine and I always made sure if the wine busted it would soak up all my clothes never to leak out on to others. I've packed both items on 9 flights and I've never had an issue

I've done it multiple times and I always double bagged it just in case but never had a problem. Bonus being that I didn't like the flavored alternatives so I could bring the kind I preferred.

Go to Safeway.com then at the top, click delivery. That opens a new window, and put in the address of the resort. You may need to create and account. They do deliver.
