Allure Beauty Box 2014

LOL! I sure wasted a lot of time on this today. Maybe I will try again next week. I beginning to question whether it is worth it. :lmao:
 
Now it says it will go on sale May 6 at the same time!:confused3

Was just going to post what they have on their FB

"To all of our Allure Beauty Box fans: Our site went down when the sale was to go live at 12:01 pm today – we’re so sorry for the inconvenience. We have rescheduled the sale for next Tuesday, May 6 at the same time, 12:01PM EST. Log on to allureaccess.com/summer. Thank you!"
 

I was able to get a beauty box shortly after 1pm. Someone had another link on mysubscriptionaddition.com and it work. Also got an email that if you don't get it they will have it available on May 6 again. It was very frustrating but it finally paid off.
 
Wonder if the people that think they got boxes dont really because if you read the message from Allure it says that they will "reset" the sale next tuesday. That would be the fair way to totally start over as the websites that were suppossed to work didn't. Guess we will know in the next couple of days if people that bought boxes are getting credits back on their credit card.

I emailed them about orders that were already submitted and this was the response I got:

"While the sale was rescheduled to next Tuesday to repair technical issues, all sales that were completed and confirmed will be honored."

Others on FB have received this message as well.
 
Oh so then it seems when they talk about "fair game" in the note to their beauty box fans they don't really mean it. Because how is it fair that the site worked in some places and not others and now there are possibly 5000 boxes gone already. Where is the "fair" in that

And taking away my confirmed order after I spent my lunch hour hitting refresh is fair??? :confused3
 
I mean fair as in I was at my computer at 11:50 this morn, spent my WHOLE lunch hour plus 40 minutes to buy a beauty box & walked away empty handed.THAT kind of fair!

No. Sorry - I should have been more specific. I got the same e-mail.

I feel badly that some folks didn't get to buy the box today, but I don't believe those of us that were persistent and got through should be penalized. I think Allure is handling the situation fairly.

We all wasted precious time, but Allure brought the website back up to take orders. They should've left well enough alone, because it crashed again......and ultimately a lame elementary update went out (fair game, really?).

While I'm glad they are making it right for May 6 - the "fair game" lingo is messed up.....like the rest of us "cheated." Not. :sad2:

Of course not....

We clicked and clicked and clicked, and we got lucky - others didn't. Allure is offering another opportunity, which they certainly didn't have to do. That seems fair to me.
 
disappointing all the way around. will try again next week but will not devote so much time to it
 
I ordered the beauty box and got a confirmation and an email shortly later. Then I got another email re-confirming my order again so I think I am set. I had also emailed their Allure beauty enthusiasts email because they had sent me an email too with a reminder. They sent me 2 emails one to acknowledge the problem and the second one giving me the May 6 date in case I didn't get it. My persistence paid off after about an hour. Getting updates from others on www.mysubscriptionaddition.com helped too. They finally came through with a link that worked. So if you didn't get the beauty box today and are still interested check the website at noon on May 6.
 
Well I'm just seeing this now and laughing to myself. I had my DH try to get me one and at first I yelled at him because he tried to get it at 12:15 and it said sold out so I told him he had to be on at 12:01. Then I apologized after I read here that there were issues (and he informed me that he tried from 12:03 -12:17).

Anyway, next Tues at 12:01 I believe I am scheduled to be on the TOT so I guess the BB is not in the cards for me this year! :)
 
Well I disagree, there is nothing fair about how they handled this and I will not be wasting anymore time or money on this company
