My family of 6 stayed for a week in February. We really liked them compared to getting two rooms. I loved having two bathrooms, the mini-bar, microwave, coffee maker and sink was awesome. We had breakfast in our room every morning. I loved having my own room with a door for my DH and I. The kids did great on the pull our sofa, and the pull out chair and ottoman. Two kids slept in the pull out sofa and the other two each had their own bed. I did not love the food court, very busy and congested. We didn't eat there often. The pools were great, the kids loved them, too cold for me to go in. We would stay there again, but we just bought DVC, so our next stay will be at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I think there was plenty of room and storage for 6. I like to unpack and use drawers and there was plenty of places to stash our luggage. Hope that helps.

We will be staying at ASMu in a couple weeks. I read that check in is 3pm. Will they let you go ahead and check your bags? We stayed at AKL last time and were able to leave the bags, get our "Keys to the World" and go on to the parks. Is that with all Disney resorts or only the Deluxe?

We are SO looking forward to the extra spce the ASMu family suites will have compared to the AKL rooms!

DH, DD, DS-in-law and I stayed in a Family Suite the end of October. We had the main room with the queen bed and they had the sleeper sofa. Having the 2 bathrooms was great. With 2 separate rooms you aren't guarenteed connecting rooms or even rooms close to eachother. This worked out great for us since it was their first time there. DS-in-law loved being able to make his pot of coffee every morning and there was plenty of room in the kitchenette for all our snacks and drinks.
DD bought lots of souvenirs and there was still plenty of room to walk through the rooms.
They had their bathroom and we had ours. They left their side a mess, but it didn't bother me because I didn't have to share theirs.

DH & I have stayed at CSR, POR, AKL concierge, and WL on previous trips and even though this is a value resort we were not dissappointed.

Just wondering if the allstar music area has alot of shade trees and nice landscaping?

Will they let you go ahead and check your bags? We stayed at AKL last time and were able to leave the bags, get our "Keys to the World" and go on to the parks. Is that with all Disney resorts or only the Deluxe?

This works anywhere you stay on property. Have a great trip!
