Allowed to slouch in order not to be too tall for RRR?

My petite daughter was so excited that she was tall enough for RRR. (Well, tall enough in the morning. She was too short if she tried in the afternoon). However, my husband also was measured to make sure he wasn't too tall. Once, they were even going to measure him, but not her. He slouched down so he would make it. I was wondering if anyone ever was not allowed to slouch.

Height restrictions are put in place to protect you, so I don't get the point of cheating them.

My brother who is 6'8'' with a long torso, was told he could ride at the front of the line at RRR, they have that tall height bar he had to stand under, but when we got up there and he sat down in the ride vehicle he was too tall (he overshot the back height of the ride vehicle) and was made to get off the ride. He has tried to pretzel himself into every ride we go on, some work, some don't. He could not slouch down far enough for this ride I guess. I think it depends upon the ride operators too.

Interesting - they did RRR three times and were suprised that they ended up in the front car all three times. There wasn't a line to speak of any of the days but I wonder if that was intentional then to put them in the front.

As for safety - he DID fit in the seat and the restraints. He's used to the restraints being tight on his shoulders. He's very slender so he likely fit better than most his height.
