Allison's MAW/GKTW Pre-Trip Report ***1/27 TRIP REPORT STARTED***

Well we all went to Jakes football game. Both sets of grandparents in tow from Maryland. It was freezing and the kids and I only made through halftime and sat in the van. Hoping Alli doesn't get too sick she sounds terrible. Unfortunately jakes team lost. They played a great game though!

I have been enjoying looking at pictures of your family opening various packages. Thank you so much for sharing them. I hope your family (especially Alli) will stay healthy and have a nice trip.

Oh bummer about Jake's team. But they did a good job making it this far, so they must be very proud of themselves.

Well we have 6 days according to my ticker and Allison's wish will be coming true! This mama can't wait! unfortunately I am driving myself crazy worrying about what I have left to do for the trip and Christmas on top of it.

Anyway, 4 boxes of pixie dust came today! The kids enjoyed everything! Will post pictures when I get a chance as I am out getting last minute stuff!


MAW is coming tomorrow...Alli is so excited!

We came home to 4 more boxes on our porch!! But we waited for the kids to get home...

The next 3 boxes are from Lynn "Cajunfan". For some reason the ones of the boxes being opened are gone. But I got pictures of them with the stuff.
Awsome bags to go around. Jake got his favorite Chip n Dale. Alli got Tink, Jonathon got Cars, and Christopher got Mickey!! Each bag was filled with goodies and matching crayon packs. One the boxes had additional goodies to go around, including beach towels for each kiddo. Jake got a Stitch cup, but decided to let Jonathon have it since he loves Stitch! Allison got a very pretty tea cup. (Which she must have hidden so I couldn't use it, since I can't seem to find it!!)

A picture of ALL the Goodies we received from Kendra and Lynn. There was plenty to go around. I got lost on who got what at one point!! They were digging in and passing around!! Daddy and Mommy were blessed with pixie dust as well. (but the pictures look yucky)

Today is DH's Birthday!!! We are also having the MAW Send off Party So excited to celebrate with Alli!! Can't wait to have some cake!!

Allison had her send off party last night!! So much fun She also got more pixie dust yesterday and today!! Will post pics later.

Wow, I am finally able to get on here long enough to post!! Jake has been working hard on a project for he AP Human geography class the last two nights.

Allison is at her treatment now with Dad. She is getting another increase in her dosage, which is now the max that can be given. Fingers crossed it works!! She had her labs drawn and found out that her cortisol level is low, and explains a lot about her being so tired and unable to fight normal everyday things. Back on steroids, but luckily it is VERY low doses compared to what she was on before. Unfortunately, she REALLY HATES steroids (can't blame her). Just enough to get her levels to "normal".

I have quite a bit to get to here. Alli and the kiddos got more Pixie Dust on Tuesday, as well as Alli's MAW volunteers came for her send off party. After that we celebrated Dad's birthday. Yesterday, more pixie dust came!! (Today too, but kids aren't home so you will have to wait like me)

Tuesday was a VERY busy day!! It was DH's birthday, Alli had dance, MAW Party.. and PIXIE DUST!! It was all fun though!

I"m so glad you recieved my package....I was running around crazy that day and after I mailed it I realized that I didn't put my note in there! I hope you enjoy the shirts! We loved having customs while we were at the parks! I tried to find a design for they boys that would be cool enough for the oldest! I matched the fabric in Alli's shirt to the skirt she recieved earlier (from Mom2AlexnWilliam)if she wants to wear them together! I hope you have an amazing trip!
