No, Alligators are typically only in fresh water. Plenty of other wildlife to be alert for, though. But it is a very safe beach.

no alligators they don't usually go in salt water - although we have found several here in fl in salt water.

but any other kind of sea life you would find in the ocean may be around, you just never know.

It is originally from 2010 but has pictures of sharks and other sea life taken at CC. It also has my encounter with a Black Tip Shark at the CC-SB beach.

Stingrays for sure. Be mindful. We saw a few. Don't bother them, they will leave you alone.

I'd be more worried about Sharks in the ocean than alligators.

Rule of thumb if you are in water that is not a pool there is potential for something deadly to be out. So keep an eye out and be aware of your surroundings.

In Florida you can find gators in your pool.

To the OP, crocodilians do not live in the Bahamas. Is it possible that an American Crocodile, a Cuban Crocodile or an American Alligator could make its way to the Bahamas? Yes, but it would be extraordinarily unlikely.

True but I imagine most pools you'd know if there is a gator in it or not.

Too salty at CC for alligators. I would be more worried about sea lice, jellyfish, sharks, aliens, etc.

My daughter who was 12 at the time thought she saw a barracuda while snorkeling, and she was done after that.

Barracuda, Jelly Fish, and invisible jelly fish eggs. Ouch.

Thankfully it's not gators to worry about at CC.

Only small critters, almost disruptive, as a day at the beach.
