Alligators at Shades of Green/Polynesian?

I've seen gators there both in water and hanging out on the bank right by some water. They are small, and they were really still. Though, the times I've seen them out of the water were prior to the incident at GF.

There were several incidents of gators in the ocean in NC this past summer, apparently they do not stay there long, but will get in the ocean from time to time.
