This may seem a dumb question but it's been few years since I've been at Ft Wilderness and I don't remember a fence around the Meadows Pool. If I do a late night or early morning swim should I be concerned about gators meandering over from the pond or canal??

Never have I ever seen an alligator in either the Meadows or quiet pool. Duckies, bunnies, and lizards in the general vicinity but Thankfully, no gators.

I am a Floridian, so I am not foolish enough to say that there are no gators at Disney ;) , but Disney is very good about making sure they are away from areas where they many come into contact with humans. While it is not impossible for a gator to be near the pool, its not all that likely either.

We have seen numerous gators around the grounds at FW while renting peddle boats and canoes they love to sun themselves on the banks around the canal.
