Alligator in Frontierland

We see one in the small pond along the walkway at Shades of Green every time we stay there. I've some cool photos of them. It's always the highlight of my trip to see one. Hope to see one this May.

Yup, it's possible to see an alligator in Florida. I've never seen any anywhere in WDW, but I know they're there. They're in all the lakes and ponds around where I live. Most of the time they won't bother you as long as you leave them alone and give them a wide birth. Feeding them is strictly illegal.

While I have never actually seen a gator... a while back I was watching U-tube videos and there was one that gave me pause. It was of splash Mountain, and riders coming off the big splash were sticking their hands in the water to splash the others in their log... little did they know that about 5 feet away in the water was a gator!!! Gives me chills just thinking about that!!
