Has anyone had this done? I really need to have a test as i suffer pretty badly with IBS which i've been hospitalised for in the past. I know Holland and Barret do testing through outside people and they also test for dust etc which would be useful but wondered if anyone could recommend anywhere? I don't mind paying

A colleague I used to work with had it done at H&B and was satisfied with them.

Not had it done myself, but wish you luck:thumbsup2

your gp can refer you.
I had an allergy test at the hospital, as i react badly with dust any milk products etc. went to docs and got a hospital appt. the only thing was that all my test came back negative??

I did think about going through the doctors but someone was telling me the test they do is very basic i dont mind paying id just like to know im getting what pay for.

My friend has just submitted their [york test] Food Intolerence yes/no test as she started suffering with Migraines. All I know is that she ordered the test and the pack came very quickly.
Good Luck.

My eldest DD has been tested in an Immunology clinic regarding her allergies, she had the skin prick tests there as our local hospital where she's a patient doesnt do them. I recommend a referral from your GP :goodvibes

Not sure which route you took but FYI - My friend had her intolerance test back from yorktest and it was positive that she was intolerant to something. She then paid the additional £250 :scared1: and they have discovered she is intolerant to yeast - they said on a scale of 1-4 she is 3. This is what has been causing her migraines.
She was happy with the service, and now happy that she has the info to take action to prevent them from now on.
It is pricey though, eh?
As an aside, her DD 20m is violently sick when she has anything with egg in it, although the NHS cannot confirm it from their allergy testing!
