Has anyone had any luck getting mickey waffles at the Crystal palace? I emailed special diets and I got a generic email returned with the following thrown in:

"Most locations that serve Mickey Waffles are able to do allergy friendly Mickey Waffles. Please speak to a Chef upon arrival at the Crystal
Palace. They will be happy to assist with your request."

If I can't get the Mickey waffles then I will schedule a lunch instead of a breakfast. My kids are milk, soy, egg, peanut, and tree nut free and breakfast out is difficult without eggs.

But since special diets didn't give me a straight answer, I'm not sure what to do. I've tried getting ADRs at Chef Mickey's but I am only 2 months out. (We were supposed to be there this week until my daughter broke her leg. So we had to rebook everything - and I had to give up my ADRs to both Chef Mickey's and CRT :-( ) The only dining request my son had was for Mickey Waffles.

Any suggestions? Thank you!!

We haven't eaten there in a long time so my knowledge is based completely on reviews I've read. From what I understand, CP serves Van's waffles and doesn't have a Mickey waffle iron.

We rarely do TS breakfasts because of similar allergies. Every time we do they get the same Mickey waffles, bacon, sausage and fruit and sometimes potatoes. Like you, I'm not about to waste a TS meal on Van's waffles. I'd do the lunch.

You can get Mickey waffles at most resorts.

Just how sensitive are the nut allergies? The allergy Mickey waffles are made using Bob's Red Mill gluten free mix. Take a look at their allergy statement about nuts to ensure that these are safe. For most they are but for those who are extremely sensitive it's important to make an informed decision.

Yep they will be Van's and not cooked very well. CP is no longer on our breakfast list especially paying adult prices for DD to get frozen waffles. We really like the breakfast at Cape May at BC. Minnie, Donald and goofy in swim wear and Mickey waffles for DD.

Thank you! I am going to look into the Cape May breakfast. Even better with characters! I can get the Van's waffles at home. My other thought is that maybe I should just buy a mickey waffle iron and then they can have Mickey waffles all the time!

Where are you staying? What park will you be going to on the day of the ADR? I'm asking because you can get Mickey waffles at 'Ohana and 1900PF breakfasts as well so if you're staying at a monorail resort or will be at MK then these restaurants are also an option for breakfast.
