Allergies...

Today we had to close all our windows and turn on our air because of my allergies. My eyes get puffy and my nose gets runny and my eyes water and it's really bad.
I take a Clariton every day and such but it doesn't seem to work for me....

Is there a special prescription you can get just for allergies?
What do you do with your allergies?

I am allergic to ants. What happens is it gets supper puffy wherever they bit me and I have to soak my feet in this like salt water almost tub thing. It doesn't itch after it just sorta burns some.

My dad says that clariton doesn't work.

I have horrible allergies. It looks like I am crying almost everyday and my nose is always runny and itchy. I take just nose spray, but still, they are horrible. Usually, I wash my hands and face when I have been outside and come inside and just try to aviod going near pollens.

I don't have allergies, but every autumn, I get this horrible cough that lasts from September to about December. My parents thought I had allergies. However, I don't have any diagnosed allergies.

Make an appointment with an allergist. You'll be tested for what type of allergy you may have. If you really do have allergies, you'll probably be given a perscription.

I use Singulair. It works pretty good.

I have asthma, and allergies are always bothering me.

mm yes. i'm allergic to lots of things. like dust andd outside.

i take clariten and it works for meee.

i also have sports-induced asthma, and so whenever it's really cold or super humid and hot outside i get asthma real bad. so i guess you could say i'm allergic to hot and cold weather too.

Well, I'm allergic to bananas and carrots. Bananas make my throat swell up and carrots make my throat itchy. It's really annoying because you can't itch your throat!

How do I handle them? Not eat those foods

umm for the pollen i usually take meds. and for pineapple i just dont eat it

My dad is allergic to alot of stuff. I think I have hayfever. We take this Walmart brand 24 hour stuff that works really well.

Well, I am allergic to several types of pollen and grass and any fruit in the apple family, unless it is cooked. At least, that's what I am guessing cause' its probably genetic, and that is the way my dad's are. Course, I didn't find out until yesterday when I ate an apple and my tongue got all weird.

My cousin has it worse, though. He is 4 and is allergic to milk, bananas, and peanuts.

I know A LOT about food allergies. My dad has them, my brother has one, my cousin, of course, has them, and apparently I do too.

Maybe it was just a bad apple. Apple family includes all stone fruites. Like pears, plums..etc.

I'm sure you've eaten a raw apple, or other stone fruit, before.

I bet it was just a one time thing.

It's like..you can't go outside and sneeze, then say you're allergic to grass.

i have hayfever (which is being allergic to pollen)
i'm allergic to animal fur and hair
i'm kind of allergic to dust

for my hayfever i take tablets (can't remember what they're called) and have a teaspoon of localised honey (because it contains the pollen inside and acts as a barrier or something...) the honey really helps me. Whenever i go to Florida though i don't get hayfever so i'm guessing i'm allergic to local pollen and not international pollen (if that made sense)
