Hi there, this is my first post... DH and I are from SoCal but we currently reside on the East Coast. We're looking forward to a trip to Disneyland with our kiddos (DS-3, DD-2).
Does anyone have experience with dining at Disneyland with a dairy allergy? We are making a trip at the end of this month. I did note my DD's dairy allergy when making priority seating arrangements. I was also forwarded to the voicemail of the head chef but he is out until the 18th. I'm just wondering how they might accomodate allergies. Not even so much at the full service restaurants but how do you get information on dairy-containing foods at counter service places?
Just thought I'd ask since I'm wondering about this and planning our trip.
I'm so excited!
Thanks in advance for any words of advice.

A friend with allergies told me that many of the counter service places were quite good about having a list of ingredients to refer to. I'd be sure to map out a couple locations where you know dairy free stuff is available or bring some of your own snacks for her to be sure you're never caught scrambling for a hungry kid.

***I cannot say for certain that these are dairy free, but they are where I'd start if I had to guess.***

Bengal BBQ skewers
Salads/ spaghetti(?) at Pizza Port
Turkey legs
Taste Pilot's Grill- burgers and ribs and super amusing fries
Corn dogs in DCA

Excuse my ignorance, but are corn dogs and pasta generally acceptable? I think of them as non-dairy items, but I don't have any issues, so they could be a problem and I just don't know it.

Thanks DevilDuckie!

Actually pasta is generally dairy-free (except for ravioli and other cheese-stuffed pastas) but the sauce can have dairy in it. Corn dogs, I would be hesitant to feed them to DD unless I could see a list of ingredients. I would guess the corn meal might have butter or milk in it. I make corn bread with rice milk for her but generally I'd use milk if she didn't need dairy-free.

Ironically, after I posted this question today, I heard back from the head chef and he said exactly what you said... Just ask for a manager or lead and they can give a list of ingredients for different items. He said to ask for the marinara that is no where near cheese because cheese might fall into the sauce on the line. (Just FYI in case anyone else needs this information.) Disneyland has been awesome to work with on this.

Thank you again for your reply! It was much appreciated!
