What do you think about this? Would you be upset if you were trying to book travel to WDW?

It's a gamble. Some may do it. I would not.

Sort of reminds me of adjustable rate mortgages (small interest rate at the beginning with the chance the rate and your monthly payment may go up). I passed on those as well, and I'm glad I did. That's part of the reason for the housing mortgage problems.

I would not buy a plane ticket that fluctuates. I can just imagine all the hassle to get a credit from the airline if the price is less than what I paid

We are taking a WDW trip in December. We booked the hotel but have been waiting for SW/Airtran/Jetblue Allegiant to release dates. I was reallly hoping to find good rates on Allegiant . This new plan seems a bit farfetched to me. Why would I book a variable priced ticket, that sounds to complicated for me. I need straight forward. I dont know its just my take on things. I might stil book if its not bad but clearcut is so much easier. This is just my opinion.
