I was hoping to fly this year instead of drive. It looks like I can get a very good deal from Allegiant Air. Has anyone flown on Allegiant Air? If so, how did you like it? Any feedback would be appreciated!!!

I haven't, but I have friends who've used them to fly from Sioux Falls to Vegas. They seemed happy with them.

I may be wrong, but I believe you have to pay for sodas and snacks on the flight. Just bring your own.

I am using them in july. My sister just used them and said it is similar to any other discount airline.

Thank you for your responses!!! I can fly from Allentown (ABE) to Orlando for 69 each way. 768$ for 5 people. The best thing is I don't have to fly out of a major airport. Anyone else???

We flew them on our return trip in October ($39!!). No complaints at all, I would definitely fly them again, they charge around $2/ea for snacks and drinks (just bring your own), no-frills similar to SWA.

Sanford is much smaller than MCO which is nice - it took us no time to drop off our car and get checked in and through security.

We're using them in June for the first time. We like flying into and out of the smaller regional airports so that's a huge plug for them. I didn't get one of the below $100 deals, but we're ok with the price we paid during the peak summer season. Sanford is a wonderful airport to use.

We are using them for the first time on Saturday. We did get super rates, but opted to pay $10 per seat for a seating assignment so we can all be together. The best part is that it is a direct flight from our hometown, simple to manage airport! My friends have flown to Vegas and had a great experience. You do have to purchase drinks and snacks, but you are welcome to bring them on with you. I will probably be posting my reviews when we return.

Belle&Beast please post when you get back. Are you renting a car?

Yes, my DM handled that. We are AAA members and I think she went with Hertz- it was a really good deal on a minivan for our group of 7, but I don't remember the actual cost. I will be sure to post when we get home! LOL :goodvibes
