Allegiant air summer 2012 release date?

it seems that all other carriers have released their summer 2012 rates, but i haven't seen mention of allegiant. i can't find it on their site either. does anyone know when they tend to open up? i hate to pass up a fairly good deal on SW. however, based on what i see on allegiant's site, if rest of summer is similar to what they have priced now...they would be a better bet. i need to know prices!!

Keep in mind that Allegiant flys to Sanford, not MCO. So if you planned to use DME, you will have to make other arrangements.

They typically only fly a couple days a week in and out of each city.

Also be sure to look at fees.

yep, i know all this...but days they fly out work perfect for us, and we plan to rent car anyways, so not a prob with DME. right now, if fares stay similar, we could def do RT for under $200...and that is out of our local airport, which is only a 25 minute drive. to use SW or JB, we need to drive a minimum of 2 1/2-3 hrs and then we'd have to pay for airport parking too. if we do local airport, my parents would drop us off, so no need for parking fees.

They have through May 15 up now. Seems like it was after Christmas that I booked out late May flights last year.

i called them today and the guy told me it wouldn't be til end of january. i caved and went with SW instead.

Thanks for posting this. I'm in a similar situation here in Central IL since Airtran is leaving Bloomington. They just lost my business too since I needed to know dates/schedules/prices.

The thing with Allegiant is they don't fly daily and I don't think they want to commit to a schedule too far in advance. Sometimes they suspend service to certain cities during slow months. There have been posts where people's flights were changed, not by time but by dates!
