Allegiant Air is having a sale to/from Sanford

I received an e-mail from Allegiant this morning and the fares are anywhere from $69 to $99 one-way depending on the city (Portsmouth is $79). Fares must be booked by 4/12 and travel must be completed by 11/9.

Thank you. I checked from Lansing and it is a much better price than the big airlines. I've never flown Allegiant, though. Do you have any experiences you can share?

Just a heads up - it looks like they are changing / eliminating some flights for later this year. We had booked tickets for 10/13 - 10/22, from Worcester, MA to Sanford. My youngest DD was orginally going to stay home, but I decided to take her, so I went online this morning to see what it would cost for another ticket, and there was no flight showing for 10/13. I called and, after spending about 30 minutes on hold, was told that they had eliminated the Friday flight and moved it to Thursday (we had not received any notification from them). We can't leave a day earlier, so I cancelled our flights (for a full refund, since it was due to their change).

We flew them last October when they were having a promotional $39 fare and I have nothing negative so say about them. They're a no-frills airline which is fine with me as long as they get us where we want to go safely and at a reasonable price. I really liked Sanford airport - we were checked in and through security in less than 30 minutes. Quite different from our Southwest experiences with very long lines at MCO (but I love SW!!).
