All You Thanksgiving Magic Cruisers - Two Weeks to Go!

It seems like yesterday that I booked our trip and found these boards - but it was almost 6 months ago! How time flies.

Hope your preparations are going well and that you are having fun savoring these last weeks of anticipation. DD and I watched the port cam today for the first time - it made it seem very real to her.

DD cannot decide what to wear that morning! I will let you know as soon as "her highness" picks her wardrobe.

Deb - I think I was wrong about Chanukah. Everyone is telling me now that the first night is the 29th....I am not going to bring a menorah but wonder if there will be one on the ship. Do you know for sure?

I remember seeing somewhere that there would be a rabbi on board for some sort of celebration - do you remember that at all or I am hallucinating? Not that we need a rabbi for this, but it would be nice to light the first candle on the ship, and I am not going to schlep a menorah. (Although I do have a "mini" that take b-day candles, but for heaven's sakes I already feel like I am packing too much!)

you're not hallucinating, i remember that post, too. there was also another post that said you could bring your own menorah and light it during the ceremony. we're taking so much stuff anyway, that bringing a menorah and a box of candles won't make to much of a difference. lol

i think this a pleasant surprise. the magic and chanukah together. awesome!
