I am going to WDW for a conference. My 13yoDS was afraid of missing to much school work and didn't want to come (yes, I too think he is responsible but crazy - but I love him anyway). I'm getting there early the day before the conference and leaving late in the day after. During the conference, I'm meeting up with friends. I was struggling with what to do when alone - after all I have the unique oppurtunity to do things my son wouldn't want to. All I could think of was explore future world. Your posts gave me some other ideas to consider. Thanks - and keep the ideas flowing!

yup my son is 14 - 15 in May

Im soooo looking forward to my solo trip in April (and again in Nov)
currently listening to Off Kilter and cant wait to see them live again!

go visit World showcase. taste the food, wines, etc.

do things he would not consider fun or beneath his dignity.

go ride the monrail to Epcot (okay it is a long walk from the YC to the monrail - but hey who cares you are solo)
