One more thing... We've started our August trip report! Villas at the Grand Floridian, Villains Unleashed, Frozen Summer Fun, this trip had it all and more! I hope you'll join us for "I Can Spot Frozen Fireworks Anywhere!"

great pictures as always. Love the parade pictures. I got a new camera last week a Nikon 7200. It was the one Franklin recommended. I am so excited to start using it.:cool1: The manual is huge so it will take me time to get the hang of it.

Congratulations!

It's a fun camera. My last camera was the D7000, so yours is an updated version of that. There is a lot to learn though. Check out the book "Understanding Exposure", it will help a lot. It's on amazon.

Fun update - and that is an Epic Selfie! (or at 5 people is it truly a We-sie?)

I can only imagine how some of the JC skippers were at like 2am :rotfl:

In addition to JC I also really like Big Thunder Mountain at night

I booked a nighttime fp for 7 Dwarfs based on your recommendation. I can't wait to see it.

The parade looks really cool. Was this a good party?

Seeing a doll missing makes me think of the Kingdom Keepers books.

And my favorite ride at night is Tower of Terror.

Once again, awesome update!

What a fantastic group selfie at IaSW!

The clowns in the balloon are creepy. Are they fairly new? I rode in August, but before that I think it has been 4 or 5 years since I have been on the ride.

Fun, fabulous parade pix! Love the Peter Pan ones. :lovestruc

:worship: on the Mine Train photos- you are right, it looks amazing at night. Hard to believe Franklin feels he needed to improve on those, but I know him. He will!

We have two rides that we love after dark, but neither of them are at Disneyworld:

Rip Ride Rocket at Universal and California Screamin' at California Adventure.

:upsidedow

Welcome back!!! What great night time shots. I don't I've ever done jungle at night, so will have to try that on our trip next week. So excited to try the mine train for the first time too. We love big thunder mountain at night. Our daughter just hit 40 inches, so we can't wait for her to try it too.

Off to sleep now, zzzzzz......

I haven't checked in for awhile but was able to do a catch up tonight!

Love how you really made the most of your time before Franklins arrival. I am SO doing that sometime. ;)

I remember talking to someone at the party about people dressed as Wall-E and Eve ( I was torn between them and Bolt/Penny...which we ended up doing but I was saying how both Eve and Bolt were 90% white clothes! :lmao: ). I wonder if it was you guys we were talking about!!

Really beautiful shots of Wishes. Looking forward to hearing more (and eventually finding my way to your August report!)!

This would absolutely fall into the "we-sie" category! Big Thunder is my absolute favorite ride at night, good choice!

I can't wait to hear what you think of SDMT at night! This party was good. It's always fun to be in the park late at night and they had a few great photo spots set up. But once again the character meets were a big problem. Disney focused a lot of the party promotion on all the heroes and villains who would be out for M&Gs. The problem is most of the heroes you can meet any day of the week in the parks, so the lines for the villains were beyond crazy. People were getting in line for Meg and Hades at 12:30/1:00 and were told they wouldn't meet the characters until after 5! :scared1: I love meeting really cool characters, but four or five hours in one line just isn't worth it to me.

Seeing a doll missing makes me think of the Kingdom Keepers books.

And my favorite ride at night is Tower of Terror.

I have the first Kingdom Keepers book on my Kindle, but I haven't read it yet. Did you like the series?

I can see how the nighttime sky lends some eerie ambiance to ToT!

Thanks! The clowns were added in the past couple of years. I really don't get why Disney seems to be against replacing IASW dolls with the same dolls, all of these other types of dolls are super creepy.

It was a great parade, we really do love that FP+ spot. And the villains' pre-show was a hoot!

I can say with the utmost certainty, I will never ever ride Rip Ride Rocket. Nope, not gonna happen for this ride chicken. California Screamin' is on my maybe list for whenever we get out to Cali.

Our nephew is right near 40 inches, so we're hoping he'll get to try some of the bigger rides in December!

I haven't checked in for awhile but was able to do a catch up tonight!

Glad to see you again! That would have been hilarious if those people were talking about our costumes. We had so many CMs stop and compliment us, they were impressed we chose out-of-the-box Disney characters for the party.

But you can program the song you want during the ride!!! One of my favorite ride experiences was listening to Rainbow Connection during a night ride speeding through a neon-lit Universal Studios and City Walk.

:thumbsup2

I tried, Franklin ;)

Thanks, I need all the help I can get! :lmao:

I absolutely love the Kingdom Keepers books! There are a few times where it might take awhile to make it through parts of the books, but I just had to remind myself that they are meant to be Young Adult books.

Congratulations!

Thanks Franklin I will get that book. I am trying to get it figured out before our trip in November. Hope I get the hang of it. :thumbsup2:rotfl:

Subscribing way late but couldn't pass up the opportunity after your appearance in Danielle's TR!:wave2:

Yay, first off I'm so glad you guys had a great trip! I was jealous watching the updates on FB. I'm in Disney withdrawal right now. The fact that I've been sick for the last week has not helped with that either.

Epic Small World selfie! I'm totally going to steal that picture btw. LOL. If you don't mind. I love it!

Franklin's pictures in the Mine Train turned out so good!

I remember when the app did that and we were like, "wha?"

I think the Jungle Cruise at night is so much more fun than in the day time. Don't ask me why. Maybe I think it feels more real? :lmao:

Personally, I love Thunder Mountain at night. It's a much better experience to me than it is during the day. And Peoplemover. Love me some Peoplemover at night.

Hi Missy! Just joining in to follow your adventure (as well as start reading all of your previous ones ;) ) Sounds like you're having a fantastic time! Can't wait to hear more :)

Love the Boo to You parade shots! The MNSSHP is on my list of To Do's someday. Love seeing all the creative costumes!
I also want to do the Jungle Cruise at night as well because I had heard of how different it was at night. So do you like it better in the daytime or night?

Hi!:wave2: I just read through your entire report, it looks like you had a blast :cheer2:

I agree Mine Train is awesome! My 6 year old loved it (not so much for my 4 year old)

Can't wait to read more about your trip pixiedust:
