It is okay.Let universal surprised me with the options they have.I just bought tickets 2 days ago and still buying trip items and saving $ for this trip. No hotel selection yet, but I am reading the disney boards about that.Maybe someday someone will put that (lemonade) info here on these boards.

Can you use the AAA discount to buy the meal pass? And do I have to buy it for everyone in my party, or just who will really utilize it? TIA.
Kelly
Leaving for Sunny Orlando on Feb. 10th!!! Will be so happy to leave behind the snow and cold!

There are no discounts on all you can eat. You don't have to buy it for everyone in the party---just the ones who will use it.

I was curious--

And, if you can utilize the quick snack option at the fff/the ice cream part???

Thank-you!!!

Does anyone know if you can get a milkshake at Mel's for dessert???

No milkshakes at Mels. When they first started the plan, milkshakes were allowed as dessert, but they changed that after the 2nd day.

And, if you can utilize the quick snack option at the fff/the ice cream part???

I wasn't aware there was a quick snack option. Are you confusing this with the meal deal Disney had at Animal Kingdom that inculded a quick snack (water and ice cream, etc.)?

there is a place to get ice cream, I think they used the term quick snack??? area?????-- (If you want to believe I have never went into fff...we always stopped at Mels or Monster's Cafe....)
[International Food and Film Festival World Expo Quick Snack UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT DINING

Waffle Cone with soft serve ice cream $3.99
Brownie Sundae – A fresh Walnut Brownie topped with Vanilla Ice Cream, Hot Fudge, Whipped Cream, Peanuts and a Cherry - $5.29.........exerpt from ALLEARSNET]

in essence before I get the deal for my crew--I need to make sure it includes some type of ice cream somewhere!!! :sunny:

That is an ice cream window outside of IFFF. It is not inside of IFFF and completely seperate from IFFF and it is not included in the all you can eat meal deal. There are no quick snacks included in the meal deal. There are several ice cream areas in both Universal and IoA but none are included. If you want ice cream from there you will need to buy it outside of the all you can eat deal.

I couldn't picture where they were saying this place was...Thank-you for checking!!!!!!!! :sunny:

Is there any site you can go to in order to check the menu for the places that accept the all you can eat pass...as well as what items are & are not covered with the pass?? I'm trying to decide if it is worth it for us!!

Thanks!

It definitely helps!! Thanks so much!! I just hope that they still offer this when we go in May! Do you know if this is something they have done for a while? or is it a promotional type of thing???

Sorry folks, but who wants to carry around refillable mugs throughout the parks, even if you put them in a bag? We find we have MUCH more fun if we are carrying NOTHING that won't fit in our pockets when we "play" at the parks :) And isn't that what it's all about?!!!!

The AYCE program began mid-summer if I'm not mistaken and then was not available for a while and was re-instated just prior to Thanksgiving. It may or may not be available when you go in May. (I know that's not very helpful, right?) If it's available it's a good deal.

i hear you on this one and that is how i felt before also.

i stay on site at hrh which is a very short walk from hotel to park.
when i take my mug it is only for the morning/lunch time.

once it is afternoon, i take it back to the hotel.
i ususally just hook it on my belly bag so i don't have to carry it while i am walking in the park. the rides i do when i have the mug on me are the ones it is not an issue to have with me.

i have done it both ways and yes, it is a pain to hang onto a mug all day.
thats why i limit the time i do it.

Just an FYI: Slaphappy is Costanza, GeorgeC, and Twin's-Mom. I've been getting some rather "interesting" PMs from him. Glad I'm not easily shocked by profanity.
