We could do a singles meet, but I won't be there until the convention starts. I think we should still have the emu races.

How about an Osborne Lights meet? Won't they be up at the end of November? How about all of us do Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and try to get into the hot seat.

Barry, I love the idea of meeting for the Osborne Lights. And, I think a meet for Who Wants to be a Millionaire would be a lot of fun! Great ideas!!
Don't kill me-but I came up with another idea. How about a scrapbooking class? At the Philly DIS meet yesterday, Lesley had the most wonderful photo album. She had scrapbooked the whole thing! It was amazing. I haven't had a chance to do one yet, but I have all of the supplies!! I don't have a clue how to start, so a short "how-to" class might be fun. k

Sure, Barry, I'm sure we can all pitch together and pay for your parkway tolls!

I think we should do a "Boneyard Meet" in AK for those who have small children - that way the adults can hang out and chat without the kids tugging on the parents and saying "when are we going to do something FUN???"

I like the Who Wants to Be a Millionaire idea...I can see myself sitting in MGM for the entire day, trying for each show to get into the "hot seat"

I just had an idea last night. How about a "Disney classics slow ride" tour? This is the opposite of the thrill ride tours in that we ride the slow-moving rides that have been around for a long time at the parks.

Here's some I thought of:

Magic Kingdom: Pirates of the Caribbean, TTA, It's a Small World, Peter Pan, Snow White

Epcot: Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land

Animal Kingdom: Kilajarmo Safari

Disney-MGM: Great Movie Ride, Backstage tour

I don't know if I can host this one since I am doing 4 others, but it is an idea if anyone wants to take it.

How about "Count the Crying Kids" game? Every time we pass by a crying kid at WDW, we mark it down. The one who finds the most crying kids wins a prize!

We have already planned a Buzz Lighyear meet, right after the one in Fantasyland and before the Dolewhip meet.

I will not have the final tour times for a few more weeks.

Yikes have two more questions...

1) is the resort decorations tour still in the works??? If not how about just a tour of the monorail hotels???

2) and what if you want to do like one of the behind the scenes tours as a group. Do you do it as a mini-meet and see if others sign up? Ok, I was thinking of maybe doing it as a mini-meet the day that the thill ride meet is happening for the people that don't do the thrill rides???

Both are ideas...I would really like to do the second one if there is any interest. Please let me know if either is ok with you guys. If not, it is ok too. Have a good one!!!

Forgive me for being late for the train here, is there a single post that has a list of real meets with dates and times? I skimmed through but didn't see it. In particular, meets scheduled for before the convention. Thanks!

Teri there is a link to the Complete Itenerary below my signature, that list the Mini-meets & Convention Events as far as I know right now. If Linda or Marsha add or subtract any I will change it. I try to keep it updated as much as I possibly can.

Pat is out of town for a few days. If he hasn't gotten back to you, it's not because he is ignoring you.
You need Acrobat Reader to read the itenerey (SP).
If I understand what you're looking for, there is a meet at Whispering Canyon the night before the start of the convention. (can do a seacrch for Gathering of friends board only and find it) I'm not sure f it is full or not.

Then I thinkl that several are meeting on the day of registration at the Restaurant in Norway (I think).

But Pat's list is really the most accurate and up to date at this time.
