Just curious...are there ANY studios that have King Sized beds? That's about the only thing that drives us nuts about the studios we've stayed in (BCV, BWV, and BLT) I hate wasting points on a one bedroom for a king-sized bed, but we ended up sleeping on a queen and pull out the last time we stayed in a studio because we are used to sleeping on a bigger bed.

I'm pretty sure no studios have king beds...we've stayed at all the villas and have never had one in a studio

All studios have at least one queen sized bed. The ones with a sleeper sofa have a double sized sleeper sofa. The ones with a second bed (OKW only at WDW) has a second queen sized bed.

Thanks! I just noticed that Vero Beach has two queens too?

the Inn rooms do, I believe the studios have the queen bed/sofa bed in them.

Thanks! The Inn has the only ocean views too, right? We have points there, but haven't stayed yet....thinking maybe May for our anniversary.

All the DVC studios have queen beds. Think of it this way when staying at a hotel it costs extra to get a king size bed. The same goes for the DVC, you have to use your points on a 1 BR so it costs you extra.

I thought I read at one time that there were a couple of Inn Rooms at Vero that had king size beds, but I'm not sure about that. Does anyone else know?

Some of them are garden views and some face the front the resort. If you want Ocean you can book that.

I've never stayed at Vero but we visited there once. They showed us an Inn Room and it had a king size bed. I don't know how many of them are set up that way and whether it's a guaranteed booking category or just a request.

We would definitely consider staying in studios as well if they had Kings. But as it is, it's 1BRs for us just for this reason. And why we appreciate the option over booking regular cash rooms in the Deluxe resorts. Too many times requesting a King and not getting one. Now we know for certain we're getting the King in our 1BR.

The King bed was an important feature, that helped us decide to buy into DVC.
We would stay at the Grand Californian Hotel several times a year, and very seldom get our requested king bed. It seemed every vacation would start with the little disappointment of being stuck in a queen bed. Now we book a 1BR at the VGC :goodvibes

Vero has three king rooms - 2 ocean view and 1 garden view handicapped accessible room. They are extremely hard to get and I was told they are generally used for honeymoons/wedding packages etc.
