Hi all. My dancers did get into Magic Music Days and we are planning on staying at the All Stars.

With the new codes out, if we can get them ..... should I go for a moderate instead?

I have a lot of first timers going ..... and a lot of families and parents so I want this trip to be great and for them to be impressed.

If they don't like All Stars.... it will be my fault (lol).

If my TA can get us into a moderate at the code rate ..... it is within our budget.

So ... should we stick with the value and use the extra for new leotards or something ... or should I call my TA back and ask her to work on a moderate for me?

I have only ever stayed at a Deluxe ... so I have no clue.

Thanks

The Allstars are perfect for your situation if you are going to be gone most days anyway. The food choices, quickness, prices and conv (esp at Movies) cant be beat for kids. They are clean, bright, fun and active-kids love it. Ask the other parents if they expect luxury on trips-they would care more than the kids.

Save your extra money for something else for your girls (like Mouse Ears!) and stay at an All Stars! The kids will love it and the parents will too. I have stayed at both the Music and the Movies and we wouldn't choose any of the moderates (we've toured them all and stayed at Riverside) over the All Stars. The bus service is excellent, the layout of the resort is great (no matter which section you get you don't have to walk forever to get to the main building as in the case of the moderates), the food court has a great selection, and the best thing is the Disney Magic that you feel when you stay there. The atmoshpere of the All Stars is; in my opinion, the best part!

Hope you guys have a great trip!

Yes, by all means, save the moderates/deluxes for family trips. Also, there may be girls going whos family might have a hard time affording a moderate + the convienance of everything + save money for souvies!

You didn't say how old your dancers were. Younger kids really like the All Stars. However, I took a group of teen Girl Scouts to All Star Music and they had a blast! Disney trips are always more expensive than you think so we stayed at the All Stars, bought each girl a souvenir mug, and they had a blast exploring the resort when we weren't at the park. It was a fun trip! Even though I like the moderates better than the All Stars, if I was in your shoes I'd stay at the All Stars and use the extra money for other souvenirs, a nice dinner, etc. Have fun! :)

I agree with the rest, stay at All Star,,,they will enjoy it there as there are alot of kids they cater to. Save the $$ for say...Guest of Honor badges......they will love them and you can get them through the mail at giftsofalifetime.com Mae

Thanks so much guys! I feel much better now! :-)

The GOH Badge idea is great!! Thanks!

I'm thinking a welcome basket type thing may be great for each girl ... I could have them waiting in the room the first night maybe?

I could do the GOH badge, maybe a matching t-shirt and snacky stuff.

Thanks for the All Stars reassurance. I'm sure it will be great and a chance for me to stay there too!

My DD is a senior graduaating from High School. She just retured from her senior trip to the All Staar. We have been many times to DW and usually stay in Deluxe resorts. Sshe had a blasst and said that the All Star was great. The room is small but it was so reasonable that she thinks that she would rather go there and get two rooms one for her and her brother and one for my husband and myself. That way the kids would have another bathroom and TV and they won't have to listen to Dad snore. Sshe dd miss the monorail but the buses were great and she was not disappointed in the resort at all. I stopped over one night and I found the place lively and fun. The bar by the pool was hopping and everyone was very friendly. It was a different atmosphere from the Poly and the GF. I think I might consider that depending on the ages of the girls. The room was clean and the CM's were very nice to all the kids.
