All-Star to POFQ?

With the airfare being so high right now, it is looking like it might end up being cheaper if we flew in to Orlando a night early and did a room only reservation at a value resort. If we did that, how would we get from the value resort to POFQ the next morning? I know they will transfer our luggage, but what if we want to take our luggage and go check in?

I would take a taxi. That's probably the easiest route. Otherwise you have to a bus to a park or DTD and then transfer to a POFQ bus to get yourself to POFQ.

If you want to take your luggage with you, you will have to use a taxi. No luggage allowed on the park buses.

You could bus to DTD and take the boat from DTD to POFQ. May take a little bit of time but could make for a fun start to your day. I'm pretty sure the boats start running from DTD around 8 or 9 am. Plenty early for you to check to see if your room is available and get stuff taken care of (tickets, etc..) at POFQ and still get to a park at a reasonable time.

The boats don't start until 10am and according to the port orleans website, they start first at 10am by leaving from POR. I don't believe they will let you take your luggage on the boats as they boats have limited seating. The boats also run dependent upon the weather - last trip they were expecting a storm later in the afternoon so they halted the boat rides in anticipation. We thought he was kidding at first because there was no wind, but they expected it hours later so they shut it down.
I would also take a taxi as the above posters indicate. It will be a lot less of a hassle and not an issue with luggage.

Thanks y'all. I think a taxi would be the more simple and less-hassle way to go. I doubt it would cost that much either.
