Has anybody stayed there, just wondering if you have any tips, or what it is like? Thanks in advance? Blondie :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :jester:

We've stayed there twice and are going again. It's a fun resort and it's great that it's the first of the value resorts to be picked up on the bus and first to be dropped off! :) I recommend NOT getting a room overlooking the main pool - VERY noisy. On our last trip, we asked to change rooms because of the noise and they graciously moved us. Have a great time!

We stayed there in Dec. 01' We loved the resort and the price. All the All Stars are great and within walking distance from one another. So you can walk to Music and Movies and check them out.
The only bad thing I have to say about the Sports is we had a room on the football field and it was VERY noisy. Even though they close the field at 10 there are still kids and very loud people coming back from PI (if you catch my drift) that still play on the filed. I would definately stay there again but would ask not to be facing the football field again. Oh and a word of caution watch out for flying footballs. It was a daily event to try an avoid getting hit by a football while walking to and from our room. And yes our 1 1/2 yo DD did get it right in the head!

We stayed here, in Feb. We really enjoyed it and wouldn't hesitate to stay there, again. We stayed in the homerun hotel part, overlooking the small pool. There was some noise, but it wasn't bad. I guess if you were there in peak season, it would be noisier. So if you don't want noise, request a room overlooking the parking lot. It's true what milmore said about the football field and cjk said about the main pool. There is also, a tennis theme and basketball theme, so I imagine facing any of the Themed areas would be noisey, but if that is a problem request a back room.

The food court is decent, although it does get very crowded. The gift shop is nice and it sales snacks, milk and liquor. All the CM's I encountered were extremely nice. Our mousekeeper was excellant, she left a towel animal every night, for ds. I think you enjoy it.

I stayed there in November, Tennis section, overlooking the "Tennis Court". It was very quiet at night. Also, I like the way this resort is set up; it's not a far walk from anywhere, even the Tennis buildings, which are supposed to be farthest away from the mail building. On the other hand, ASMusic is set up like a bosling alley, long walks from the outermost buildings.

Building 10 is very close to the food court/main building and you aren't charged the prefered fee to stay here. The homerun pool is very cute. The details are pure Disney.

Anyone stayed in the touch down building? We have only stayed at movies so far but have reservations at ASSp for this year. DS wanted Touchdown so that is our request. I see from the map it is pretty close to the main building. How is the noise here? Thanks for the info.

Jordan's Mom...

We've stayed in the Touchdown building before. We really liked the location. Our only problem was a young baby in the next room. The baby cried all night and kept us up (thin walls) so we requested a new room the next day. No problem to change rooms. You'll have a great time I'm sure!

I stayed there last June and had an awesome time! The rooms are nice; kinda small and noisy but not bad. The main pool is really big and warm. The transportation is the best part because it is really good and the buses come like every 10 or 15 minutes.
