I'm going in June down with my daughters volleyball team for the AAU championships which will be @ ESPN and Orldando Convention Center.

We'll be staying at ASSports; my first time there. Tell me how good/bad it is. Do you have a room preference? How are the food courts?

Well for one, watch out for those sports teams, they're everywhere I hope your daughter's team does well.

Food courts have a nice variety of hot and grab-and-go foods. Nothing real fancy, but they can usually handle large crowds quickly.

The "preferred" rooms are the ones closet to the food court and buses. Some are closer to parking lots (which makes a difference to some) and some people like to stay away from the noise at the pools.

We had a good stay there in October. We were pleased with the bus service, food court, and pool. They have pool-side games/activities every afternoon and movies every evening. I like the All Star resorts because they are not too big and spread out, and the theming / decor is cute and very Disney. The rooms are basic with no extra luxuries, but ours was clean and comfortable. One advantage to All Star Sports is that at times when the All Stars Resorts are sharing buses, All Star Sports is the first stop. I would stay there again if we needed a value resort.

thanks! I am used to staying DVC and BLT...do they provide shampoo/conditioner/etc? I'll bring my ear plugs...taking one for the team staying here but looking forward to it. I do have my TA keeping an eye open for a moderate.
