All Star Sports

my extened family is staying at all star sport in Sept...and i have read alot of negitive reviews on it and also alot of good reviews. We have been to POP Century 2005 and 2006 and cbr 2004 and we love POP so i am a little concerned about AS-SPORTS, because POP century is our favorite resort. As much as we are really in the room we don't care about the room size we just sleep and shower there.
can anyone give me anymore information on the resort like wait times for buses, is the food court always packed and are the pools clean and are the rooms extra clean or extra dirty ???

there are mixed reviews.

my last visit to Sports (last march) was fine. the room was clean and the food court was okay. It was busy.

I doubt you will find major differences between Pop and Sports (except of course for theming.) Pop does have the indoor lounge and the grilled flat breads. Pop also has more guests, so more people everywhere.

We love ASsports and ASmu. Because ASmo and Pop are newer and more popular, its nice and quiet at ASsports. try and request building 10, it has a back entrance to the bus area. My DD14 prefers the food court there instead of Pop. Plus Pop has about 900 more rooms.
You might think of this as a negative but after the morning rush AllStars tends to share buses. But Sports is the first stop. I don't think of it as a negative because they constantly have buses coming and going.
There is more room between the door and the first bed because the the distance between the 2nd bed and wall to the bathroom is smaller. The room size is exactly the same as Pop. I like that the parking is more available than at Pop. Plus there is a McD's right outside the guard station. Helps when you are coming back from a park at 2am (they are opened 24 hours) and you want a midnight snack.

im going to be staying at the All Star Sports resort in october, and i have heard nothing but good reviews about it. im hoping just as much as you that it is as nice as everyone tells me it is! haha. good luck and tell me about it when you get back!
