Hello all! I will be leaving for WDW this Monday:cool1: woo hoo!!!!!!
I am trying to figure out what I need to bring or have delivered to the room. Has anyone stayed at ASSports and been inside Sport Goofy's? Do they have any type of groceried or anything? I only mean bottled water, soda bottles, small snacks, etc.? I don't have much time left:cloud9: so any help with this question will be GREATLY appreciated!!! Thanks!!!:thumbsup2

I haven't stayed at Sports but, I have stayed at Music and Movies (the resorts are pretty much the same).
The gift shops do carry a small amount of grocery items. Chips, cookies, donuts, bottled water (I don't remember cases of water though, just in the refrigerated section along with soda, beer, and other beverages). If you looking to save some $$$, I would have it delivered. It was okay with just me and DBF but, if I had children with me, I would probably want to get more for my buck.
Hope that helps. Have a great trip!

Thanks DisGirl23! It does help! Have you ever used Gardengrocers? Is there a minimum amount that you have to spend? I only need a small amount of stuff, maybe $20. I do know that there is a service charge ($12.95?). Are they reliable?

I haven't gone through the grocery delivery services but, I would take into consideration that delivery charge... It may not be worth it then. I do hear good things about them though...
We've always packed snacks. Granola bars, Goldfish crackers, rice krispy treats, dried fruit, etc. We also brought pure2go water bottles that have the filters in them.
With being in the parks most of the time, we didn't even get through all those snacks. Just the few we brought with us to the parks. And of course you just have to have the Mickey Ice Cream bar, Pineapple Dole Whip, and other little goodies!

We've used Garden Grocer in the past and loved them. No problems at all. I gave them my cell phone number and an approximate time that I would be arriving. They called my cell first to see if I had arrived, and delivered to the room. In fact, they came in and put everything away for me. Friendly service, and you could even add the tip on ahead of time. If you haven't arrived, I believe that they leave everything with guest services.

BTW, we'll be arriving at Sports on Tuesday evening! Have a great trip!

I have not used Garden Grocer yet, but I intend to this coming June. From what I understand, there is a $40 minimum order. I think I will save some money, and I am also looking to get some healthy things for the room. I have recently lost some weight and would like to have some better choices available when we are at the resort.:thumbsup2
